  • What Screen mesh count are you using for this job? and This is incredible you guys are amazing!

  • @RaptorX1800 Thank you! We used 305 mesh screens for all colors.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Limited edition Goonies four color (CMYK) process screen printing on white and black T-shirts for The Shadowbox Cinema in Roanok

  • what kind of ink do you use this? ready mix or super color/rubberized

  • @TheLass08 Plastisol process ink.

  • @TheLass08 Plastisol process colors. They are translucent and very thin.

  • What paint do you use? i have a poor kind of paint, because every time i make 2 or more color i need to dry the paint first before i apply the next one.. can you give me a advice on this..tnx

  • @devilsemaj009 CMYK process inks are printed wet on wet so they may blend to create new colors.

  • QUESTIONS We always print CYMK in this order "YMCK" I noticed you are printing opposite of that besides the key. Will you explain what reason you have for printing that way opposed to the way we do it? Second question..When you print white shirts then print black shirts, are the same screens used or both white and black shirts. Also, I noticed your video has 2 splits in it. I assume that is because you flashed the underbase, removed the flash, printed your CMY then flashed again for K? -Thx

  • @MIDWESTBULLYBRAND It really depends on the design. As this design was yellow heavy, we printed it last before the black. On other designs, we may print CMYK or CYMK. Generally we always print Cyan first and Black last, of course. On the dark garments, the same screens were used however we used a white underbase screen print then flash. The edits in the video are cutting out flash time. There is no flash before the black. Thanks!

  • youre genius guys.............

  • How do u the seperations? Do u tutorial on this

  • @0oBABYxVEEo0 We do our separations using Photoshop.

  • So how does this work? How does the colors go in place? Do u print 4 copies for each color?

  • la separacion de cymk es igual en corel 15 que en photoshop cs3 o cual es la diferencia

  • owesome...what type of dye you uses?

  • @kuchalanakali These are plastisol process inks.

  • @kingscreendotcom plastisol process inks same with rubber dye or not?

  • @kuchalanakali I'm not sure what you're asking. These process inks are the same as traditional plastisol ink only formulated to be more translucent and blend on fabric when printed wet-on-wet.

  • @kingscreendotcom hahhaha...sorry i make yo confused..actually i wanna to know what type of colour you're used..can you tell me..

  • @kuchalanakali The inks used in this video are One Stroke Inks process inks. We have since made a switch to Union.

  • Wow this is cake. What is the angle that you used and what software did you used for the half tone process?

  • @NgonHua Separations for this design were done using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Our angles are a secret. ;)

  • Would you please share how you align the silkscreens so perfectly?

  • @thedevo01 Tight registration is held by the press.

  • CAKEPPPP

  • WOWWW!!!

  • I signed into my youtube account just to comment one word.. Dope!

  • @ThekEvOsLicE Thanks!

  • whats the machine called?

  • QUESTION: How do you get the screens at the exactly right position on the shirt so that the next color hits exactly where you want it to?

  • Goonies two is still one of my favorite video games ... refreshing to here Cindy Lauper and this song

  • genius!

  • los goonies lol

  • @seoulbrutha1 Same as any plastisol ink. Most inks must reach 320F for proper cure. Check with your ink manufacturer for specifics on the ink you are using.

  • How do you separate the colors like that to create the image? wowzers????

  • @HUSTLINISMYGAME Very carefully! ;)

  • @HUSTLINISMYGAME you can use a program called Separation Studio or T-Seps the programs actually slip up all the colors you need so you know how many screens you might need. Its a pretty cool process.

  • @neweramaze T-Seps and Separation Studio are a waist of money, all you need is Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop has all the tools to separate the colors and halftone it for you. You design your artwork in CMYK mode in Photoshop, then go to channels and choose which one you want to do first ( lets say cyan), then you go to >Image then to >mode > then to Bitmap and then choose screen print halftones and then choose your frequency, angle and dot size. After that do it for each color.

  • @nolan769 What can you do if PS won't let you select bitmap ?

Say for example if you up laod your own photo.

  • @ColouredAnimalMusic We can do your CMYK separations for you. Email us for a quote. info at king screen dot com

  • @HUSTLINISMYGAME color channels

  • Excelente calidad de trabajo, Viva los Goonies!!!!!!

  • I was curious what dpi you used on your artwork? Also, what size mesh and are you printing a solid white or halftone?

    thx.

  • @milods1 Artwork file was 300dpi, output at 50LPI on 305 mesh

  • HEY YOU GUUUUYS!! goonies rule!

  • yeah what brand of inks were used for these? were they water based?

  • @willber9000 In this video we used One Stroke brand process colors. They are plastisol.

  • Is that water based ink or PVC(Rubber) ink? Nice one dude

  • @wazupsam In this video we used One Stroke brand process colors. They are plastisol.

  • i didnt evan no this was possible lol so fucking awsome fuck DTG lol

  • how did you make the stencil?

  • is magenta and cyan available on every store?

  • WHAT INK DID U USE??IS IT PLASTISOL??

  • @choytabu666 In this video we used One Stroke brand process colors. They are plastisol.

  • @choytabu666 In this video we used One Stroke brand process colors. They are plastisol.

  • can the black be any old black or no?

  • how do you do the graffix for that??

  • @samuraigraffix Photoshop CS3

  • You didnt even wait til the first screening to dry, u just go head and print the next color. is that okey? i though you suppose to wait til first one dry first?

  • @ZicoSebastian When printing CMYK part of each halftone slightly overlay and you want to print them wet on wet so that the inks mix with each other on the garment to make new colors. This is the trick to printing full color CMYK!

  • @ZicoSebastian With process printing, the inks are printed wet on wet so that they actually blend on the garment to create a full spectrum of colors. That's the magic!

  • how did you do that? hehe! what settings from cs3 (resolution, frequency, angles, etc) and what mesh count did you use? thanks a lot! i'm new to screen printing. your suggestions will help a lot!

  • What program is this that you used for color separation?

    id appreciate a response, plz

    thanks

  • @Pharcyde2293 Separations for this design were done using Photoshop CS3.

  • @kingscreendotcom Did you have to convert it to Bitmap and then halftone it?

  • @kingscreendotcom I have CS3 but can not figure out how to do this. I always thought you needed a special program to do this. Can you please tell how you did in CS3? Please??

  • thats amazing...

  • how do you create the screens for this?

  • I want to burn larger images into my screens, but I am printing on 8.5x11 transparencies and then I have to piece them together. Any suggestions?

  • @GutterGold I suggest getting a larger output printer or outsource your film positive printing to someone who has one.

  • which chemical should i use for no hand feeling on dark body? please kindly advice

  • @kibrianaim I would recommend a plasticharge or discharge white. Otherwise, a soft hand additive added to your white underbase and print through a high mesh. 200-230.

  • I think im going to be contacting you for printing my shirts. Even though im all the way in illinois. :/

  • What mesh count did you use on the white base for the black shirts? And what mesh count did you use for the CMYK screens? I'm trying to learn this process. Love your work!

  • @HypeGT The underbase was printed using a 230 mesh. All the process screens were 305.

  • @kingscreendotcom

    Thanks for the info!

  • @kingscreendotcom what program are you guys using? Just photoshop? Or are you using a sep program within photoshop? I've been trying to color separate a CMYK design but just don't know how to do it

  • goonies!! nice choice!

  • did you flash the white underbase?

  • perfectT!

  • Looks perfect and i love that movie! i gonna start CMYK soon too!

    Check out my video!

  • Nice vid. Y did you print yellow third and not first?

  • @chicagobeishaolin As the design has heavy yellow content, the end result looked best printing yellow third. We typically print CMYK or CYMK depending on the design.

  • I went to the website but didnt see this shirt for sale, i want my hands on a black one. Are you flashing colors other than white on the black shirts? Your a sick ass printer.

  • @beansmuggler Contact The Shadowbox by email. They should have some left. We did a second run of them recently.

  • so good at what you do.... how do you not need to flash cure between colours??

  • Nice job
