I like Bruce Kulick. Great guitar player, but KISS never would've been KISS had he been the lead guitar player, his solos dont fit the song at all......ACE was a master at making the solos fit the songs , reguardless how simple people say they are. He just kills the songs with his crappy solos on the old kiss songs. I'm waiting to hear the notes for the solo part that makes the song cool, and he just misses it by a mile....

Can someone please answer this question. What happen to Gene's voice did he just decide to sing by screaming and make growling noises one day or is it just shot from being around for so long cause around 1988 he did not sound at all like what he did on the 70's records. What happend?

@TheHappynot When your performing live, it's a very differnt feeling than recording in the studio. The songs are much faster and heavier live and the vocals must follow the vibe. And when your older the voice does change and get lower and rougher. In the 70's he was very young compared to this clip. I speak from 15 years of experience with my own band. Studio singing is way different than live singing.

Live shows aren't perfect sound recordings. Gene has been singing and yelling this song live for years and the tempo has always been faster since Eric joined the band. It sounds heavier too.
