@daniel11111112 its a storytelling game where you use your imagination along with some dice, minis, cards and other props. Rather than two armies fighting it out on the table imagine your Frodo Baggins and you have been handed the one ring. Rather than reading the story your making it with the choices you make. You could even pick to join Sauron and destroy Middle Earth. This particular roleplaying game is set in the Warhammer Fantasy world.
I wonder if this version is a "how miserably can I fail at given task". 2nd ed. was dangerously deadly even to point where giving players a set amount of points to spread amongst their characteristics still wasn't enough. Though I am sick of seeing elf this and dwarf that, everybody avoiding the halfling since they were so crap -less fate and easier to die. The game is very unforgiving, yet it retains a charm I can't ignore. Now this 3rd ed. Lookslike 4e d&d, lots of bling, more rules, but bad.
lol us nerds don't need real girls we just stare at the box art and wish! ps thanks for loading tutorials up here there is some stuff in the rule book they don't explain very well so this is sure to help.
I wouldn't worry about the complexity too much if you already play Warhammer Fantasy Battles. I made these videos to help out with some things that may be unclear in the books. When I am done with all the videos it should be pretty clear how everything works.
hey im new to the hole roleplay thing but i gust bort the box set to play with my fellow warhammer friends, where realy in to warhammer but never played a roleplay like WFRP. now we will realy get in to the swing of things but im worried about the learning diffactey, if us noobs will be lost and not be abale to play it. Thank you for taking the time to go over Warhammer 3rd. For many sorting through all the fiddly bits rules mechanics can be daunting.
