  • Gotta love Jalen

  • So what was Shaqs warning??

  • Hey Arthur!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT! he does look like Arthur!!!!

  • the amardillo? LMAO

  • u know...

  • LMAO He looks exactly like arthur in that sweater

  • @JBA000akaJ1 AHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • he's NOT capable of "scoring in the post".

    not yet at least.

He is much more successful when fed the ball in dynamic situations

  • its arthur hahahahaha

  • master of panic lmao

  • thats a big yellow shirt!

  • every day when your walkin down the street, everybody that you meet, has original point of view lol

  • jalen spittin wisdom

  • Man, people need to decide what they want outta their players...First Pau Gasol is "soft" b/c he's too "finesse" and doesn't power up and dunk everything. However Dwight is not "finesse" enough b/c he powers up and dunks everything, but doesn't have a feathery touch like Gasol. I personally prefer Pau's game, b/c he's well rounded AND he's athletic enough. He would've done well even in the 90's w/ Robinson, Shaq, Hakeem, Zo, Ewing, etc. I doubt Dwight would've been as effective

  • @SFO14

I think Dwight and Pau is good enough. When the Lakers lost to Boston - They didn't lose because Pau was too soft. They lost because BOSTON was the better team and Lakers could have used a healthy Bynum. They talk about how Garnette dominated Pau, but at that time how many players KG wasn't dominating?

Same with Dwight - his game has nothing to do with them not winning it all. - It's not like he couldn't score or defend - it's not like he was just shut down. - The better team beat his.

  • @onn1320 I agree, I'm just saying fans and anaylsts are so fickle when it comes to players. They hammer a player as being "too soft" (i.e. Pau) or "all he can do is dunk" (i.e. Shaq, Dwight). But guess what, they're 2 of the best players at that position, so if it ain't broke don't fix it.

  • I still think the lakers are the team to beat, until they are knock out of the playoff. I can't underestimate them, especially with kobe and phil in charge. But like 2003 when they were attempting to make it 4 yr in a row to the finals, we know what happen? Let us not forget. History have a way of repeating itself, and i see that alot of teams are after to beat them than ever. I don't see them winning it if they don't have homecourt in the finals.

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah we need to get it together=/...things arent looking good..we took it to memphis and now we lost to them ..ugh cmon guys.......and well i dont see any other team winning it if they dont have homecourt either lol....yeah ur right in the sense the team with homecourt is most likely to win it....but yeah....this happened last year, we lost games everyone was like "hmm perhaps they might lose in the playoffs this year" after the thunder series we looked vulnerable,...

  • @Thutmosis7 this is just the regular season, im not tryna make excuses but,...the lakers will lose games, iwe just gotta make sure were in championship form come playoff time.......and well in 2003-2004 we were just out played, we lost that hunger, detroit wanted it more, we lost fair and square, ...see its hard for me to not see my team not winning the championship cause we have the last two years, ..so with that much history this decade cant count us out at all, im not worried at all..

  • @Thutmosis7 still alot of games to play so...only time can tell..the spurs are looking good tho, i think itll be spurs lakers western conference finals tbh...and i think we'll have the best season record when its all said and done....but i cant even say that..really its too early in the season to be sayin much.......but yeah we need to get it together, but i know we will, phill jackson? kobe? cmon man, you know we always beast come playoff time;)

    when it counts. ;)

  • @TheDelaney401 I just saw that they lost to the rockets too. I know in the past the rockets have always give the lakers trouble even without tmac and yao in the line up. They look tired the lakers.

  • also LOL@ the fact that were the only ones commenting on this now...man were owning this comment page ..

  • @TheDelaney401 Come on gasol lost to his lil brother's memphis team last night? Lakers starting to look alot more like last season. Whether bynum is on the team or not it make no difference. What i see so far with them is that they have holes in their defense. Yes offensive is good, but they got to play defense and they are yet to face any real good teams. Other than the jazz which they lost too so far. It's not gonna get any easier. Spurs looking good and might have another run in them.

  • The lakers have not been to the finals 4 times in a row since the days of MJ. So it's a difficult task they have ahead of them. Eventhough they look good now, if they don't end up with the best record i think we could be seeing a new champion. It depends on how they end up in their division. Things can change very quick. Had it not been for dwight missing those free throws in the finals we could of seen alonger finals instead of a short ones. Yet still after that he didnt want to blame himself.

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah true, but at least you looked at the facts that the celtics were just the better team OVERALL in 08, and had great defense and were HEALTHY, just i dont like people who blame their team's loss on the missing piece of one guy, cause injuries are just a part of the game, so no excuses for bynum not being there, shit happens and celtics deserved it. however, i dont see the celtics NOT coming out of the east, i just can't imagine the magic beating them in a 7 game series,

  • @TheDelaney401 The magic need howard to perform big. He needs to become a shaq attack type or Hakeem type. It would be lovely if he can master the hook shot like Jabbar did. That was an unblockable shot. One of the best shot in the history of the game. Like i said the lakers almost lost with a healthy bynum in the finals last time. So it's not like he make a difference. The lakers are more accustom to playing without him. He is starting to remind me of Gred oden with the injuries. LOL

  • @Thutmosis7 especially if perkins comes back, and the heat well, experience of the celtics, and championship defense will win over lebron and wade and "bosh"? lol he can't handle kg and perkins on the inside, ...rajon has great defense, wouldn't be able to stop lebron or wade but at least frustrate them enough to cause a turnover or two......nw back to my lakers, key for us is staying healthy, if we can do that, we can make it back, the spurs are surging tho, their healthy and will be a threat,

  • @TheDelaney401 Bynum is talented, but he is nowhere near the level of Pau. Or put it this way never will be in the same league with the great centers of all time. He is decent or average type. He is like a 14 point 10 rb 1 block shot type center. The heats are starting to play and lebron is getting his groove back. Only time will tell who come out of the east or the west. Cuz there are always surprise. Remember the spurs prevented the lakers from 4 peat. So they are capable again

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah but that was awhile ago, as of right now cmon lets face the facts, th lakers are a MUCH better team than the spurs, thats a fact. the spurs are aging and their defense has something to be desired compared to past hours...their slowly starting to fade into the background, window of opportunity is closing...lol just saying lets be honest, theyll be a 4th seed at best, you got the hornets who are surging so doubt theyll have a better record then them.when tis all said and done.

  • @Thutmosis7 they are capable but to me its highly unlikely in a seven game series, they were in their prime years ago lol so yeah..and yeah bynum is mainly a rebounding shot blocker which is all we need him to do we have plenty of scorers, so thats not expected too much from him....lebron has had his groove back just a matter of them gelling, and noooo llol greg oden is a diferent story least bynum played and grabbed rebounds and had an impact...

  • @Thutmosis7 but if we have homecourt advantage this year, i think we'll ultimatley pull it out over the spurs and get back to the finals, that is if the spurs make it to the western conference finals, which i think they could, not sure though but your right shouldnt sleep on them......the thunder are a nice yuong team coming up, and the portland trailblazers have given us trouble even at home in recent years, ...we'll be fine though.just need to stay healthy.:)

  • @TheDelaney401 I heard that Greg oden is out? I don't know for how long. Damn this guy is curse with some serious injuries. I remember feeling this way when penny hardaway so talented keep getting hurt. Had he been injury free he would of been one of the top 5 playas of the 90's and early 2000s. With the blazer he depends on how much brandon roy knees hold up. Yea but they can still be deadly even without oden. The durantless team beat boston last night? Impressive!!!

  • @Thutmosis7 and yeah the celtics broke down, thirteen point lead late in the third and you can't get it done? lol thats not the refs like some celtics fans would say etc, thats a team that had a lead and collapsed, they have only themselves to blame, like in the 08 finals game 2 i believe, one of the games we had a 22 point lead or so on the celtics AT HOME and the celtics came back and won, not because of the refs, cause we fucked up and had a defensive collapse

  • @Thutmosis7 and yeah lol oden man, ..i dont know what to say about that.....im not going to pull out my bust cards but man hes makin me want to lool number one pick hurt every year thats a shame. and are you serious??? lmao see thats what i mean man the thunder are a force to be reckoned with...:)

  • @TheDelaney401 Yea i hear you. Happy thanksgiving bro over there in cali hope you had a good one. What's going on with the heats?

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah....damn man we lost to utah today lmao..im so pissed...oh well only by four points but still.......man whatever we'll sweep in the playoffs when it counts like we always do so no worries, games will be lost but in the end we know where we'll be. ummm happy thanksgiving to you too:) and yeah i did damnnnnnnn soo much turkey and pieeee ..as im writing this im eatin lemon merengue and apple pieXD ..the heat....all i have to say is there really isn't a distinct leader on the team.

  • @TheDelaney401 Miami need a leader out of the pack. Did you see the video where lebron bump the coach? I was wonder if he did it purposely or not. But anyway i would say the magics are good, and the celtics. The dallas maverick is playing well. I think for the lakers to make it to th final they would need homecourt advantage. The only time they didn't have and made it was back in 2002 i think against sacramento. That's when they had one of the greatest center in his prime call shaq.

  • @Thutmosis7 donaguhue one of the refs admitted to betting on the games that year in the finals..very sad as a laker fan to admit that but it is what it is..that 7th game was a bit yeah lol....but yeah sorry man im a laker fan..so im gonna stick it out for my home team...lakers 2010-2011 champs. we can't be stopped. its ours :)

  • @TheDelaney401 I could remember one finals where jordan throw russell down to the floor, i thought they should of call foul on jordan, instead they allow him to take the game winning shot against the jazz. I think for yrs it was rigged in my opinion. Especially alot of special foul calls to jordan throughout the yrs. Remember when he came back the second time with the wizards they weren't nice to him. Those special treatment had to stop.

  • @Thutmosis7 like they have yet to establish who will be the head honcho the qb the go to guy because when you put a bunch of "go to " guys on the same team your offense will likely render to be confused and erratic, cause you have too many guys trying to go one on one offense instead of playing together like a cohesive unit you know, lol they need a capable center,l no bosh is a joke tbh, watch him against elite competition which is what they will face in the playoffs he's a joke imo.

  • @Thutmosis7 but yeah the heat have the talent no doubt about it, they just need t make it work and play as a team, their only beating sub par teams, statistically speaking, they have a losing record against teams that are .500 record and above, like 1-6 last time i had checked, and against teams that are below .500 record, they their like 8-1. so to be taken seriously, they need to beat serious competiton ya know.:p

  • @TheDelaney401 I don't think utah will be swept by the lakers. Yes lakers are good, but they are beatable. Playoff or no playoff how long can they keep it up that's the thing. It all depends on who they meet in the final. If it's boston it unlikely boston going to lose twice to them in a row. I respect you view, but after watching the spurs against the hornets, i can say spurs are the team to beat.

  • @Thutmosis7 wel the spurs were down by 15 or so, i mean like i respect the spurs but as far as strength of schedule im not too sure if the hornets are the only elitish team theyve beat and all the other were scrubs, im not like tryna take anything away from them, but like lets be honest, the lakers spurs and hornets havent really played like, super top teams yet, weve all played teams we should beat. anyway, i think the lakers could do it without homecourt advantage, tbh, lol ,

  • @Thutmosis7 were a TOTALLY different beast in the playoffs, this is regular schedule, were going to rest pau and kobe a bit and get em ready for hte playoffs when the real season begins, but yeah we are beatable, but when we have all things clicking NO TEAM can beat us, the only team i feel that has a legitmate chance IN THE PLAYOFFS on the west is the spurs, our team is too intelligent too mcuh experience for the hornets, jazz etc. the jazz beat us but in a 7 game series idk man..

  • @Thutmosis7 of course i would say this cause im a laker fan but ..lets be perfectly honest, everyone knows we wake up for real in the playoffs, same with the celtics, we both may lose games but in the playoffs we know whats up..and well i think we can beat boston just about making them run, their aging but still dangerous, but long as we push the break, we can do it, ...were better than we wre last year, so are the celtics, but as a laker fan i can confidently say well win the championship.

  • @Thutmosis7 ....and nah utah wont get swept but we will beat them 4-1-maybe 4-2 , especially if we have homecourt which we might idk too early into the season for predictions, injuries could occur.....the spurs if we met them in the western conference finals maybe like 4-2 i think we'd win, were just too long, too much experience, the spurs are looking good against other teams but..lets see how they fair against us the champs....lol were the team to beat until were beat in the playoffs.

  • @Thutmosis7 boston has the best half court defense in the game, lakers have the best half course offense in the game, boston is BUILT, to beat us, as we are BUILT to beat them, just about which team executes better.....the miami heat def need a leader lol and yes i saw that lmao i bet it was on purpose you know bron bron little cry baby no offense....sorry i dont respect him his ego is out of wack....and the 2002 series against sac was actually fixed..the 7th game sad to say..

  • @Thutmosis7 when its all said and done if the finals once again is celtics and lakers, a fool can only decide who will win it, these are two great great teams, so you cant count oout one or the other, i think the team that plays the best defense, grabs the most rebounds especially that was a deciding factor in last years finals, has less turnovers will win. we need to make the celtics run, and not settle down too much into half course offense, celtics have GREAT half court defense.

  • @Thutmosis7 if we can move the ball, and if pau and LAMAR ODOM especially contribute big and with bynum back i think we can do it:) but yeah should be an interesting year, the heat may finally gel and give the celts a run for their money, wh knows eh?

  • Orlando deserves a Championship,NO! Dwight deserves a RING!

  • @rjhayskie09 He needs to become a better scorer like how hakeem was with the rockets. he need to develop a more a shoot making center like jabbar, ewing and robinson was like.

  • Howard is limited offensively, however, when he has a mismatch Stan Van should go to him as he can dominate with just his sheer strength and he will score points on dunks and if thats all Howard needs to do then so be it.But I remember this game and Howard has a bona fide point as they lost this game due to bad coaching, nothing more.

  • get a pyschologist to make dwight howard meaner. Then we might see the magic take the whole thing one of these years

  • but i thought dwight never curses :O

  • Dwight Howard is one of the dominate centers...but I think for the Magic to win a championship with the team they have now.. Dwight needs to develop a mid range jumper like Big Z.. cuz against the Celtics and Lakers.. Bynum, Gasol and KG and Perkins shut the paint down for Dwight..and now with Shaq and Jermaine O Neal, it will be a lot tougher for Dwight, if he can develop a jumper than Howard will have more options to score, a jumper, a fake followed by a lay up or dunk or what he normally does

  • @Sonido007 Good point. Something like Hakeem and ewing.

  • Dwight Howard dont want to be selfish so i think thats why he aint putting his hands up for the ball. He thinks its a selfish act and want to share the ball.

  • @singer80089 ohhh good catch lol they don't care he's superman...

  • dwight howard is the best!!!!!

  • for some reason i can't imagine dwight cursing.

  • @singer80089 Yeah he said shit

  • i noticed, everyone who is interviewed in the post-game conference always says, ehh-ehhmmm, "you know, you know, you know..."

  • Dwight Howard watch is fire

  • dwight howard needs to scowl more. stop that goofy smile shit

  • you are mean

  • LOL

    he does look like arthur

  • wow! i totaly conquer with Jalen for the first time..... dwight keep that stuff in the locker room or do you want the attention?

  • the bar on the side says "Shaq's Warning" should have been the next topic but they skipped it and went to "VanGundy's fault?"

  • lol he looks like arthur

  • @powertrip25 haha lol all he needs is the glasses :))))

  • @powertrip25

    LOL

  • @powertrip25 HAHAHAHAHA

  • @powertrip25 haha yeah. a giant, black version of arthur.

  • @powertrip25 HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • what game was this

  • nba finals 2008

  • I mean 2009 sorry

  • eastern conference semi-finals 09

  • im surpised dwight even cursed

  • i love dwighttt<3

  • my baby is right!!!

  • I agree. That's the disadvantage of being too strong. But he is right what he said about Van Gandy.

  • Dwight howard still needs that finesse. He needs to have a better touch to the rim. He seems kind of stiff and awkward. Not as to say he is not athletic because he is very athletic but he does not have a very finesse game. Pau Gasol, you see how he moves with such grace, Dwight Howard needs to a more smoother and a more gentle touch to his game. Mid range jumper wouldn't hurt either. Still has room to grow. Infancy stage right now.

I look forward to seeing what kind player he will become.

  • @TheDelaney401 fuk u kid u a really big as dumbasss fukin retard

  • @TheDelaney401 You make a good point and i agree. The fact he practice along with Hakeem all summer. I think he needs to work more on his offense game, cuz he is already a good defender and shot blocker. Also needs to cut down his fouls, eventhough some of the fouls are questionable. But he still can continue to improve. There is still room for improvement. Eventually i hope he gets better quick.

  • @Thutmosis7 Man has it really been a year since i left that comment god damn LMAO. ..but yeah he has worked on his game lol go figure a year later..yeah i saw a video of him working with hakeem during the summer, hakeem was the man as we all know and if dwight howard can take a page from his book and run with it,..oh boy......league would better watch out...ive also seen him during games this season..hes applying these new skills....we'll see how the rest of the year plays out.:)

  • @TheDelaney401 LOL i know. Well they get another crack at the newly heats and i have to be a judge on when they play them. I hope howard dominate like the old shaq. If he could transform in a playa like hakeem was that would be great. U are talking about 27points, 12RB and 3 blocks again per nite. He can do it, just need to believe in himself and continue to work to get better.

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah, the only issue that i have with the heat, since you mentioned them is that well...they don't really have a dependable big man, bosh wasnt that much of a superstar when he was the franchise in toronto, and he was getting most of the touches, but his touches will be limited since yuo got bron and wade, so theyll have to find a way to gel, but yeah against elite teams, their middle is weak as hell, defense overall is in my opinion, they DO have very good catch and shoot players.

  • @TheDelaney401 Yea you make a good point and that irritates stan gundy alot. His team play very soft in the playoff. I really expect alot out of carter but he somewhat look his age now. I like nelson but i think the magic need a point guard at least gary payton height like 6'4. I think they are missing another key playa to take them to the next level. The celtics are still the beast of the East and the lakers are more vunerable cuz of their defense playing like phoenix style. too much points.

  • @Thutmosis7 Celtics-Lakers 2010 finals, whoever has homecourt advantage has the biggest edge, cause when either team plays each other on home floor we barely lose to each other. The lakers defense has been pretty good actually, odom coming off the bench finally being consistent grabbing rebounds, then again weve played scrub teams and so have the celtics, really dude we cant say anything this early, cause no team has played any elite team yet, all we can say is just what we think will happen

  • @TheDelaney401 My friend, but clearly that yr the 66 win celtics was alot better than the 57 wins lakers. Their defense was unbelievable. Plus they had a rookie point guard. This yr rajon is the best point guard all around and he can play defense. I think the difference maker on the celtics is Garnet. He is the leader. Pierce is too cocky. Ray allen is a quiet type of guy. But he is deadly when he is on. But we could be in for a surprise bro? We are leaving out the spurs who are healthy.

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah they do know how to play kobe, but we have alot of other players to pick up the slack, gasol, odom, with bynum coming back and if healthy we'll be a beast.:) but look celtics and lakers both great teams, so like we'll see who comes out on top this finals, caus ei truly believe lakers-celtcs again, we'll leave all the talk elsewhere until both teams actually make it there though lol, the real season begins in the playoffs;)

  • @TheDelaney401 Even last yr in the finals he wasn't the difference maker it was always gasol. U know why the lakers lost? The media didn't give enough credit to the celtics who were clearly a better all around team than the lakers that yr. They pick the lakers to upset the celtics base on lakers past experience and that was a big mistake. They did the same when the piston destroy kobe and shaq in the finals. U are a lakers fan and could have you bias view which i respect.

  • @Thutmosis7 like eddie house that will can generate points, when alot of playrs collapse on bron or wade, they can dish it out and have a reliable person to take that shot, but their bench , i dont know, like...they can beat the scrub teams but when it comes to the celtics, with their beast defense, the defendin champs my lakers, the magick, idk if they can win in the playoffs when it COUNTS, and matters, cause all those teams i jsut mentioned are different beasts come playoff time.

  • @TheDelaney401 I will say the celtics no doubt are the best team in the nba. The lakers were fortunate to have won last yr, especially when the celtics lost one of their big men in the final game. Cuz he would of been the difference maker against the lakers. Plus it's always true that some teams match up well against others. The celtics were more physical tough and with their big guys they know how to play kobe. I guess they got a page from 2004 pistons how to beat LA. LOL

  • @Thutmosis7 yeah true but dont forget we wre also without bynum in 2008 and that COULD have made the difference in ALL of the games, remember we had blown alot of those leads when were up in alot of those games, as in the celtics blew their thirteen point lead in game 7 of this year, perk could have made that difference, so you jsut have to realize injuries are a part of the game, , but for the rest of the games that led up game 7 of 08 to that bynum could have...

  • @TheDelaney401 Bynum wouldn't make a difference that yr. I am tellin you by looking at it. The difference maker to the lakers run is gasol. He is like the rafael nadal of basketball. He is one of those hakeem type or ewing type of playas. He is no shaq. Well the lakers don't need shaq cuz they have kobe. He is the type of playa that can put up 25points, 12RB and 2.5 Blocks a nite. Bynum best yr was the yr celtics won, he didnt play much so his number would of drop.

  • @Thutmosis7 But also, we can't say for sure who the best team is, all i know record wise the lakers are right now but were slipping so we need to pick it up, and we got steve blake a very smart point guard and ANOTHER rough artest like defender in barnes, who gave even kobe a bit of roughin up;) so we have that, i mean of course im gonna support my team so i say all this lol the celtics are a great team defensively, and i cant see the heat getting past them sorry heat fans,

  • @TheDelaney401 Agreed, he is already scoring 23ppg, and 2nd in MVP, I can see him winning atleast two MVPs.

  • My bad.. But they still showed that same clip after the Cavs game win to show that dwight was unhappy with the decisions in the Cavs games as well.

  • NO matter what no one says. that game was lost in the final second by the coach... Why wasn't the game plan to double guard Lebron or deny the inbound pass. but instead man to man REALLY...... I wanted the Magic to win but if coaches makes stupid decisions like that I don't know...

  • this video you commented on was not about Cavs vs Magic it was about Celtics vs Magic so why are you talking about LeBron?

  • Dwight Howard will indeed be a great player, but he doesn't have that beast in him yet! He still has a lil boy mantality, rather than a "beast" mantality. He really needs to work on his post moves instead of hitting the squat machine working on his hops! We all know he can dunk, so they need another BIG MAN, coach for him! Not Patrick Chewing

  • Hey, Patrick's been helping hm develop his offensive game pretty well so far. I actually think he's a great compliment for Dwight from a coaching standpoint.

As for Dwight, I asgree, he's still learning how to be a no-nonsense leader and is making pretty good steps each year and I can't wait to see him when he's fully matured after a year or 2 of real playoff experience.

  • amare is better than this guy if he wasn't so injury prone

  • amare sucks at defense though. His offense is excellent, but he gets very lazy on defense all the time.

  • Are you sure? I agree with the lacking defense but take Nash away and Amare would be average.

  • So you are saying Nash is the reason why amare lacks defensive skills?

And Yes, I'm sure. Whenever I watch him play, He doesn't look like he is giving any effort on defense. Why do you think phoenix lost to spurs in playoffs twice? Tim duncan was literally pounding on amare every time he got the ball in the post.

Amare does average about 1.5 blocks a game, but he is not a very good individual defender like gasol, garnett, duncan, martin, kobe, etc..

  • No, that wouldn't even make any sense at all.

Tim Duncan is a legend. That is like criticizing Pietrus' defense on Kobe.

Phoenix would've never gotten anywhere with Mike "Defense? Who's talking about defense?" D'Antoni If not Spurs, then Lakers would have beaten them. Defense is absolutely necessary in playoffs. What I said was that without Nash, OFFENSIVELY, Amare would be average.

Defense? Don't talk about defense. Defense?

  • stan van gundy is he like jeff van gundy's cousin (the old previous rockets head coach)

  • their brothers.

and as for chaz770 you never air out personal stuff like that to the media as we all know it can only escalate. If he felt that way then get in the coaches and players face "inside the locker room".

  • D.Howard is a fine young man from a good family! If he felt the need to critique his coach then so be it. He when about it the correct way.

  • Not Superman...Sulky-man.

  • to me d howard gets a lot of garbage baskets!! you rarely see him goin iso in the post and using footwork to get a hoop!

  • dwight is a good player..

but he is being man handled by

perkins.. so he needs to just play

    basketball and stay quiet

  • man handled?? hahahahahah dwight is destroying perkins this whole series.

  • Dwight has never even attempted more than 25 FG attempts in his career thus far!

lol...so much for the most dominant center in the game

  • What is Dwight going to do when he gets the ball though?

All Dwight has is a little inconsistent hook and that's about it...Perkins was containing Howard throughout the game...

Howard's offensive repertoire is very limited...he's not a automatic 2 points when he gets in the post like Shaq...nor is he as dominant as Shaq

  • they have superman, why so seriousssssss son......

  • give dwigth the ball, put perkins in foul trouble early easy as that, no KG this should have been a walk in a park for magic.

  • van gundy fail=shaq win

like the magic...hate the coach =/

  • Stan Van Gundy was outcoached. He should have at least have Howard touch the ball on possessions. If Howard didn't get the dunk, score or go to the line, he could have drew in the defense freeing up Lewis and Turkoglu for jumpers. When coach had Howard intentionally miss that free throw with sufficient time in the game, he played not to lose; it was too early. That said, Howard shouldn't have called out the coach. Jordan, Bird, Ewing, Barkley, Magic; none of the greats EVER did that.

  • they also havent been put into the situation where theyve had to say something. this series is slipping away from the magic, howard needs to step up and take this team where it needs to go. i agree, he shouldnt have done it in a press conference, but still

  • You're right, those players haven't been put in situations where there is lousy coaching. The only exception may be when Magic didn't agree with Paul Westhead (who wanted to play halfcourt and focus on Kareem instead of fastbreaking) but he never criticized his coach in public, especially during the playoffs. Howard does need to step up and demand the ball. When players, especially the leader or star player calls out the coach, teammates may follow suit and tune the coach out.
