  • gotta love thoose guitars just picked up a 1984 black artist aewsome tone

  • excelente

  • Good job and sounds great! Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp would be awesome also.

  • Teacher, Bron-Yr-Aur please :)

  • Very nice touch. You filled in the blanks for me. Thank you fine sir.

  • thank you.

  • Great sound on that A-G-E riff! I wish I could get that effect!

  • Thanks mate! Got it the first time, good guitar teacher

  • dude! what kinda guitar is that?!? its freakin gnarly!!

  • @420squirrel817 It's a Washburn Woodstock Studio A, circa 1985.

  • @vonhasselbach hey, i have the exact same guitar just a tabacco burst finish though...how much are they worth do you know?

  • @66punker66 I have no idea.

  • @420squirrel817 says what it is right there in the description.

  • BIEN POR LA CLASE

  • the song is misty mountain hop

  • well certainly NOBODY could guess that when it says so in the title...

  • I do like to keep them guessing

  • Wow, amazing!

    Can you play Bron-Yr-Aur-Stomp?

    Please, that would be awesome!

  • not misty moutain hop

  • What make and model is the guitar dude?

  • Washburn Woodstock Studio "A" purchased in 1985

  • sure if i had guitar like that i would be new hendrix by now :D

  • amazing! great job and brilliant song. currently trying to learn this song but it isn't going great so far haha. keep up the great stuff =]

  • sick guitar bro!

  • hey man, thanks for the tips. You've got great tone and feel!

  • Great , I need it for my band! this is the right way to play IMHO

  • Very nice lesson! It would be a bit easier for us to view if you would align the guitar to a flat angle with the screen (or camera). Thanks for the lesson.

  • And thanks for the thanks. This video is more than a year old and it was one of my first videos for YouTube. Check some of my more recent uploads, and hopefully you'll see that I've tried to film things more the way you've suggested.

  • Took your advice - right on - nice improvement with the flat to the camera angle. Magic Bus was awesome! Only 200 views now, but destined for at least 20,000!

  • i kan not play this!!!!im a lefty with a right gutair!!!and not a lefty flip...lol im a left

  • LOL I do it completely different: octives at the 5th and 7th fret for the signature lick, and an open A chord played at the 5th and playing the ascending lick on the D string as I bang it out. This is on electric however; your version works better on acoustic.

    Ken

  • Are you hybrid picking or is that just my imagination? If you are, that's very smooth. How long have you been playing?

  • Yes, though I learned to call it 'clawhammer'. I learned that technique from Freddie Pelletier in Saskatchewan in 1992/93. But I've been playing since March, 1981.

  • the best thing about your videos is how you explain some of the "theory" in a very guitar-practical, down-to-fretboard manner. say more about theory please! how do these notes make the tune work? also what about the right hand here?

  • nice job... I like that

  • BEND THE G EVERY OTHER TIME

  • Nice playing, are you by chance wearing 2 watches?

  • what kind of guitar is that

  • Washburn semi-accoustic, the "Woodstock Studio" model. I bought it in the Spring of 1985.

  • Well done boy - i'd buy you a beer, but you're just too far apart, i live in Lisbon. Have you posted some more?
