bought mine off the nokia website. Best goddamn smartphone Ive EVER had....this thing does EVERYTHING. Im still waiting for it to take off flying out of the palm of my hand. I heard someone say on here that "it's built like a tank", and I would have to agree. This phone makes me understand why the world knows that the best manufacturers of cellphones, are in Europe and Asia. US phones, OVERALL, tend to suck shit for the most part. I will remain with Nokia until I die.
@baker3person I don't have an iPod touch, but setting up WiFi is as easy as identifying your WiFi connection by name (e.g., "Joe's Network") and (if required) entering the password. This is only a one-time process. After that, based on your settings, it can automatically connect.
thanks i had to choose between this and the blackberry and i chose this mainly because it will play somany music type files, and it has a better camera than BB. thanks for the heads up about the stereo jack converter.
excellent review i just got mine today i just hate finger prints but i ordered a clear snap on case from Amazon once i get it ill post review great job take care
@ebrock09 it greatly depends on your lifestyle. the nokia or iphone would be more helpful for a busy person. if you are younger and have less of a schedule, the Karma is a good choice to keep you updated with options to update your status on popular social media...
thanks i am going to get this. I do not like the iphone because of the camera and no keypad and no video. This phone can also do the mobi tv, which i think is neat. Can you tell me the name of the adapter for the 1.5 to2.0 headphone so that i can use it with speakers and car, also you said something about sync with google, can i sync with google calendar, how. this was a 5 star vid for me cause it helped me to finally decide to get the phone. Thanks a bunch
Adapter is Nokia part number AD-61. You can get it from eBay. google (dot) com/sync then click Symbian. There will be specific instructions. I will tell you it's not that simple, but if you pay attention and follow instructions, it will work. You can only sync calender and tasks right now I think. It syncs both ways, so if you update an event on the phone, it'll show up online. You can't sync email yet...
check out the E72 and in Singapore this week the touch screen version (Maemo) came onto the market. It's now superexceeding all other phones... mmmh, it will be on the US market by May 2010... maybe...
Thanks. yea. I'm using a Motorola now after having some issues with my E71x. Trusty Motorola never fails on me. Even the government relies on their products (walkie talkies). I liked the nokia, but it had some quirks that I felt were intolerable. lol. apparently unique to the ones i tried because other people have no issues. My luck i guess.
Nice review you just sold me on that phone, im taking back my 3GS today im going on a iphone stike ;) im just getting tired of iphone and i miss having real buttons to press also..ill go back to iphone once its comes with a flash and supports flash..or maybe wait for the itablet hehe..or HTC touch pro for at&t (rumor) again thx for video !
Yes. I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi. The strange thing is that usually if I'm home, I would rather use my computer than my phone since the monitor is larger than my phone's screen. And, when I'm not home, then obviously I'm not within range for my Wi-Fi.
Google Voice has threaded text messages. You can send text messages for free via any web browser (phone or PC). I reviewed Google Voice in a video on my channel. If you can't find it, I can send you the link if you message me.

WTF its a phone review and your talking about his bone-structure?
oh and GR8 review btw but i wanted 2 kno should i get this or the samsung eternity thnx in advance
footworkassassin 2 years ago
Foot....,
I'd go for the Nokia. The Eternity I have had problems with...including the touch screen since it is pressure-based instead of touch-based!
I have had significant issues with Nokia phones, such a shame!

Excellent video, thanks! I think you sold me into getting this phone.
Just want to confirm the first PRO you listed, were you personally able to connect to Wifi (without the purchase of a data plan)?
Also, I heard it does not have "threaded" text messages? Do you know if there's a working application for this that can be downloaded?
Thanks!
