  • All right, go girl. I say Pete Seager, eat your heart out. Now please, help me with a comment on my song. Thanks. Bill

  • Done. Thanks.

  • You beat me to it, kiddo! Great song, great video (and kudos to whoever lent you their exam room).

  • Glad you like it. I actually wrote this in 1995 & have unfortunately only had to tweak it slightly since then. But it's finally come into it's own. If we all do our parts maybe it will be obsolete in a few years.

  • Sing it!

  • Glad you like it. Let your friends know!

  • Is health care a right? If you believe so, why?

  • This video filled me with horror and moral outrage.

  • My favorite song used to be Roy Orbison's 'Only in Dreams' until I heard Deborah Van Kleef's 'Talking Health Care'. You have moved me, Deb.

  • Wow. I don't know what to say. You certainly have wide-ranging taste. Thanks for your response.

You can do one more thing: Let your friends know about Talking Health. We're hoping to do our part to keep the focus on the real issue.

  • Yay Deborah!! Great song, great vid.

    Love to you,

Roy and Melanie (and Joe and Sam)

  • Thanks! That means a lot coming from you guys!

    Love,

    D

  • I love this! I hope that Obama will stick to his guns and succeed in passing health care reform! We are the only industrialized nation that doesn't provide guaranteed health care for it's citizens!

It's past due that we change that!

  • Good work! We need more singing in this movement.

  • Great video! And yes, as a far national healthcare is concerned, it works for everyone :) Including the doctors (AMA members) and various private interests groups opposed to it. I have yet to met a physician in Europe who does not make enough money to own their own their home or a BMW or Mercedes. Those who want MORE than this...have violated their oath: to serve the public good and do NO harm.

  • I loved it because it is so very true.

Great job singing this wonderful song.

Thanks to my friend 3Slimdog for sending this too me.

  • Aced that song.

  • Thank you my friend and I loved it.

  • I love this truth tune!~ Minstrels tell it like it is , and this song certainly does with a twinkle ;-)

  • I like this song. I too am a musician/singer/songwriter, and an activist for affordable healthcare. Many of my original songs are in concern over the healthcare.

A-For-Da-Ble Health* will save our economy,

it is in the best interest of everybody,

if every job moves out of the country,

than (tell me) whose gonna pay the medical fee? chorus of one of my better songs, inspired by a former employer; while still employed there I had halfway decent insurance.
