To RMEProd: this will date me a little bit lol but I grew up watching Airwolf and the thing you are seeing on the underbelly of the aircraft is a launch pod. It fired Missiles and rockets. It actually retracted into the body as well as the machine guns on the winglet pods.

@F22RaptorDude Retractible landing gear is much more common on RC helicopters than it used to be. Just about any scale fuselage available today has the option of having retracts if the full scale heli it is modeled after has them of course. HeliDirect has a very cheap Airwolf fuselage from Fusuno that has retracts... it is for a Trex 450 size heli and cost about $75.

@RMEProd What you see on the belly of the helicopter is Airwolf's retractible ADF pod (all directional firing). In the TV show it could fire a huge aray of missiles. AGM-12 Bullpup, AIM-9 Sidewinder, AIM-95 Agile AGM-45 Shrike AGM-114 Hellfire, FIM-43 Redeye, and AIM-4 Falcon missiles along with M712 Copperhead shells.

hello i need your help im looking to build an airwolf im getting a honey bee king 2 helli but need help in regards to getting a proper body for it and wheels that retract . ive seen a toy kit for it for 89 pound but it looks cheap and the wheels dont retract have you any advise please????
