Wow your dad sounds like mines. I love my dad with all my heart and he loves me and my brother. But we don't see eye to eye all the time. I'm 23 and he still treats me like I'm 12, because I too live at home. I can't afford to move out at this time so I'm stuck feeling trapped and having altercations with my dad. I tried writting letters too, but he still dosen't get it. Sometimes I believe we arn't suppose to understand our parents...just Love them :)

I can kinda relate to this. My father and I have a very awkward relationship. Sometimes he can be really criticizing and condescending which has caused me withdraw from him, and I really wish it wasn't like that.
