This almost happened to my sister. She was gutting a doe and a very angry buck came up behind her, 20 feet or so away. She fired two warning shots beside it and it ran away ( We didn't have buck tags yet ).
The reason he was attacked was because he was dumb and put doe urine on him during the deer rut. Without the urine on him, the deer would have ran off at the sight of him. This has nothing to do with deer getting payback on hunters.

Let me also point out the clinical symptoms of CWD: Ongoing weight loss, decreased interaction with other animals, listlessness, walking with the head lowered, blank facial expressions, and walking in repetitive, set patterns. In elk, nervousness is also observed. Excessive salivation and grinding of the teeth has also been observed. Deer will also drink and urinate more than usual. Hmmmm, I dont see aggressive behavior listed in the clinical symptoms. Odd huh.

It takes very little skill, and even less bravery to sit in a blind or camo tent with a high power rifle with a scope on it, and kill an animal. Without confirmation, you dont know if its a cold, the flu, TB, sinus drainage,, etc. To know what is causing a person to go insane, yes you do need tests and evaluations. I worked psych nursing, so this I know very well. Therefore, I know very well it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to diagnose this animal based on a 55 second video.
