  • Very soothing...

  • Irorie Toninio peyie kiliki eneikoshi ilmaasai enerany amu indang'a taata pi!!!!

  • this girl is a poet, parabalic in a sense i like her music because you have to have understanding to get her. Just like Jesus when He would speak His teachings in parables and would finish let Him who has ears hear and him with understanding gain knowledge. Parables are not for everyone but they sift btwn him who has understanding and who doesnt. Her job is just to use her talent for the Glory of God indisplaying her uniqueness and it is up to God to open the understanding.

  • nice.

  • It's simple,Don't judge and you'll not be judged..and remember God said not everyone who calls me Father, will enter His kingdom...having said that,NEEMA you're so good!

  • i love it

  • IN LOVE WITH WHO??can you preach the gospel without quoting bible verse or mentioning the name Jesus? if you tell someone how good God is and not mention which God, can they know you r talkn about Jesus? NO. It will b a waste of time... Likewise with Gospel music. It is a minstry and any singer who sings without mentioning the Name Jesus is not a serious christian but mere entertainer lukn for fame n cash. For real gospel with power listen to Rose Muhando, Upendo Nkone, Christina Shusho..

  • @imelda4jesus WORD.....a real minister after souls will mention the Name Jesus. This song can be confused for a love song ( too watered down). Nice beat, nice video, no power

  • @imelda4jesus : she does so talk about Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might not know what language she is speaking in but it does not mean that she does not talk about Jesus ... listen well before judging others!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @anesae I unerstand the language. And i have listened to the song... its shallow. By that i mean one has to struggle to get the message of the gospel, it does not mention JESUS, basically its watered down. Shouldnt a gospel song be to the point and easily grasped?? What is the musician after, money or souls?

Here a list of real gospel

    1) Rose Muhando

    2) Upendo Nkone

    3)Christina Shusho

    4Angela Chibalonza

  • @imelda4jesus:I guess different people are touched by different things!I think it is 1 of the most amazing love songs I have heard coz it is to the 1 true LOVER a person can have.I think it sad that an appreciator of gospel music can be quick to judge. You cant say she is after fame&fortune coz u dont know her.And u cant say it is watered down czo it was not written to you but to GOD!Our relationship with God is personal and this is how she chose to express hers!Like I said, dont b quick to judge!

  • @anesae okay, as you said she wrote song to God. Okay why not mention HIs Name?? even you as a human being would you appreciate a love letter from a loved one without your name... just words. If someone is a serious christian musician they WILL mention the name of their God in the song. But if yr afer fame and want yr songs to be played even in the clubs then you will write "mysterious" gospel songs

( REV 3 V 16) because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold, i will spit you out of my mouth.

  • @imelda4jesus : Thank you for the verse, however, once again YOU are not GOD to know whether she is lukewarm or not. Go ahead and read Luke 6:37.

However, I think we could go on with this until kingdom come, so I am going to give you Psalm 131:1.

    Stay blessed!!!!

  • @imelda4jesus JUDGING is not a great idea, the lady sang the song, you should simply listen not judge.

  • @TheDochi80 what does a judge do? he decides your sentence eg muslims who stone ppl 4 their sins. If u read the verse about judging it says...remove log from yr eye b4 removing spec from brothers. That means dont point fingers @ someone else while you yourself is doin same thing eg accusin some1 of fornicating yet u r doin sme thing secretly.

What im doin is speakin a point. If someone truly loves God & wna reach ppl they will mention the name Jesus so that everyone will understand the message

  • there's nothing wrong with being "African" but there's a million different sounds out there and a million ways to appreciate music. call it mimicking or whatever but she,s chosen to express herself as such and some of us appreciate music for music's sake... "African" or not! (and could someone please offer a definition of what "African" music really is in this day and age of global interaction and cultural diversity)

  • Thats very true!

  • lovely song.

  • 901246946, ur such a cunt!

  • your such a hater geez! no one is forcing you to listen. if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. And the song doesn't sound western. take a listen to neo soul and compare with what she has...

  • this song is for desperate souls.tell me is it gospel, lullaby, reggae, patriotic or what?

  • Word !!! You know the cynics can't appreciate an original piece of beautiful music.Maybe popluar neo soul artistes like Erica Badu,Jill Scott and a host of Others in the Philly Area..Thanks for the enlightenment...Peace

  • this is a beautiful track, i wish someone could put up the song Home. I think it was done by her as well. Kudos to our Kenyan artistes. Her haters should bow down coz this chick is more famous than any of them will ever be! x

  • Men why lie this track is so slow i struggle to stay awake listening. Why sound so western,am here and i have learnt that black is power.Imba kenyan stuff and forget sounding so irritating nyenyenye i don't know what????? mzalendo and i appreciate home for ever

  • those saying this track is good are looking at the girl instead of listening to the music and thats why people fail exams, they focus on the wrong topic. This song needs alot of rehabilitation honestly.

  • That was a very shallow remark ..Remember,To each his own"..Go Figure..Phar -I-See

  • We Mnandi...ishia....she is talented & NOT A BITCH...U seem to be the biggest hater...Jinga wewe

  • Her voice is beautiful and her message is clear for all believers to hear.

    Shaadai Tanui

  • Now this is music; forget all that "Genge" and "Kapuka" nonsense. I would gladly pay money for music like this; I can feel the Electric Piano, hear the percussion, discern the live bass and fathom the drum; now that's music.

  • You may not like the so called "genge/kapuka" however it is original and unique,.Nema, when will you ever learn? Denial is not an option in music, for pete's sake, take a an orutu or even marimba and use it on the song,at least then you can claim to be African!

  • Excuse me ! ! So now one has to play an African instrument before they can claim to be "African" in their music ?? Well then, following that logic, then all Africans should get rid of Microphones, basses, Pianos, Saxophones, Recording studios, etc ---- seeing as these really did not originate in Africa, but Europe and America ! ! ! Rhythm, Melody and harmony are universal whether it's on an Ukelele or a brass instrument ! !

  • And PS: "Genge and Kapuka" are not original. Trust me on that, I belong to the generation that originated it and I can authoritatively say that the origin of Genge and Kapuka are in dancehall reggae, particularly with hits by "Chaka Demus and Pliers" from the early 90's, with songs like "Murder she wrote". Check out the drum sequence in that song and then compare to 100% of genge and kapuka songs and u will realise that it is the same drum sequence. And PS: Genge and Kapuka aint worth the time !

  • She'z done a good hit n any one with "jiwe" should upload it.

  • this is our Kenyan Christi michelle

  • it doesnt matter whether the song sounds american or african what matters is that its an excellent piece of both tallent and hard work.keep it up beautiful and continue doing your thing coz am buying your c.d the first thing i land back home.

  • nice video, nice mixing on vocals ,track,,,all in all serious piece of work,,,,BUT LUCK OF originality and IDENTITY,,this is american replica,,seriously,,,go to the studio,,look for your own unique sound and african identity,,,OTHERWISE NO way will you ever sell or even sign to intrnational standards,,LEARN FROM ERIC WANAINA,,,he was in states,,,found his identity,,AND GET IT HIS OWN TOUCH,,,be AFRICAN,,,THIS NEO SOULS TUFF aint your identity,,it has its owner

  • That's her style. Not everybody although african, can sing african styles. From a musician standpoint view.

  • she is actually part of the Mavuno Worship Team in Kenya, and she performs with them in the US when they make tours. she also won a Kora award. she is as original as they come. and try to listen to more of her songs, she has a very unique style

  • LOVELY! thats all i can say

  • Kenyan music becomes impressive by the day! this wowed me! jill scott material! well dun

  • Agree with you kush22.
