And Ron has very significant and substantial campaign financing from the grassroots (and NOT from corps, special interests, or pacs), and continues to maintain and increase his grassroots support. So 10% of the vote is very significant -- and makes Paul a REAL force in this election -- as opposed to 0% for the Gravel campaign, which represents no force at all.

The President is the "CEO" of the Executive Branch and doesn't need to consult with the Congress when making decisions with respect to the Executive Branch's agencies, of which there are a multitude. And as Commander-in-Chief, he does not need to consult with Congress at all to withdraw forces from anywhere. That's an Executive decision. So clearly what you're saying is nonsense.
