Sorry I see what you mean, it was a rather bad idea, but at that time I thought it was an interesting filter and I was a bit worried about YT copyright claims and so on... However, I still have the original and perhaps I can reupload soon.
@CassiusChrysanthe Yea, that would be great! Before I found this one I was seriously thinking about downloading the other one fix the sound/vid-sync problem, and then I found this one and then there was something else o_O. But if you get time feel very welcome to reupload without it. I think anyone interested in this guy and this kind of music would appreciate it. Its a true epic master performance that gives me shivers all the way through everytime I watch it.
@CassiusChrysanthe I've played guitar for over 15 years but relatively recently went over from electric to acoustic and started practicing flamenco techniques. I've listened to Paco since many years and about a year ago found out about people like Sabicas and Vincente Amigo and although all three of them are amazing and have they're own qualities that surpasses most players know in these times, Niño Miguel has something extra special about his way of playing.
I fully agree, Nino Miguel is amazingly original. I totally adore his Pescadores or Vinos y Caballos, which are really mesmerizing compositions. Or check out this bulerias: - it has a unique blend of rawness and elegance - /watch?v=heo4NsEPVG0 and those rasgueados are something out of this world...
Here is Miguel plying on the concert in Seville few days ago and please, realize his form - /watch?v=hBLygnl6tRc&feature=uploademail.
I uploaded his Soleá - /watch?v=PCfSCRcr0Gc- again without the video filter and without frame with "solea" vertical title, now so I hope you'll be happy with the result. In case you would like to see the full video the material comes from google-search for "Tesoros de la guitarra flamenca, Nino miguel". And Fandangos, alegrias, vals flamenco and rumba are yet to be done and uploaded later on.
Miguel oozes Flamenco, He is by far one of the best flamenco guitarests both compisition and play style. He was after all PDL's rival back in the late 70's.
yes! that's the right word describing his music and art, my friend! please, have a look on all the rest of the document, YOU WILL FIND THE TREASURE. El Nino Miguel can not be compared with intermediate, technically orientated, empty works of nowaday's pro's - for they reflect by their work what they are. each of El Nino's compositions are pure gold - none of them can be established as the best one - cause all are entirely equal in it;s pristine quality and inner freedom, expression of emotions
Actually, this is the first time i see a video from nino Miguel. Unknown to me till now, thanks for the other names u've shared also. I learned to play flamenco with Juan serrano's books and i think he has something from nino Miguel Thanks againg.
I love Juan Serrano's playing very much. I also have some DVD's with his school and analysis of flamenco palos, which are very important for me.
But I doubt he would have been influenced by El Nino Miguel, cause he precedes him a little, and Juan Serrano already had his typical recognizeable distinct style in early 60-ties or late 50-ties. He is 'mas puro' also. father of flamenco with couple of others too.
Check out channel of 87cyberman, he has a nice few pieces of Serrano there.
It makes me so sad to see the tragic path life has let him down on. He truly is a guitar genious.
