They need to make it longer (yes longer because that's how we loved it!!) and upgrade the graphics (especially for dimension door and ethereal blast!) and add more extras and character (and add online multiplayer) and they could definitly make an MMORPG based off of Star Ocean (Heck I'd even pay $50 a month for it)

That means you can buy weapons like the Divine Avenger, accessories like Victory Trophy, armor like the Valiant Armor, and skill books that can teach a new move like Ethereal Blast.

But lets see things that are better than SO3- Being able to press the attack button and then moving back. Fury in SO3 was absolutely gay compared to SO4. Bosses don't take 30 seconds to kill. The AI is at least 5x better. Bosses don't use one move to massacre your entire team. MP kill doesn't exist. Bonus Board doesn't break from having a monster tickle your asshole with 0 damage. :)

Dude this is my favorite attack of all time, I powered up fayts levantine sword through the item improvement thing and I got up to like 80,000 to 100,000 on EACH hit. Glory. I went back to fight luther after i did that and served him a TRULY splended and deserved ass kickin'. Glory.

item creation... first tell me your team of three that you use and I'll tell you how. But if you have any of my three, I'll give them now...

Fayt: veinslay; or divine avenger; or levantine just make a lot of boots of prowesses and synthesize them to his weapon; also put them as accessories and get orichalcum synthesized to them as well. Same applies to my other three Cliff and Maria. So really just synthesize to your weapons and you'll easily reach 9999 depending on your weapon and acc.

be careful who you listen to on here, this person doesn't really know what they're talking about. Don't use the Veinslay, use Divine Avenger for fayt. Use Dragoon Laser for Maria(you get it in Sphere 211, don't need 9999 attack to get to it), and for Cliff, also in Sphere 211, you get 2 sets of Valorous Gauntlets in the game. If you have some money these are worth the work it takes to remove the negative effects. I.E. Perform Blacksmithing on them,

Oh hush. So, it turned out to be an RPG, big whoop. I like the message that they evolved beyond their programmed parameters and became real people. Besides, It's only a game from the Eternal Sphere's perspective because of how sophisticated their technology is( a VG developed by them is actually a living alternate Universe.

After all, for all you know, who's to say that we aren't the product of someone else's imagination. It's a plot twist that's supposed to make you think.

I first saw footage of Star Ocean on X-Play a LONG time ago, and I only remembered the part where he went "Who the hell am I?!" and then fell to his knees. So, when my friend was going to give this game away I went, "Heeeey." So, I played it and got to this part.

I didn't know whether to go, "...well, that was extremely anit-climatic." Or, "Duuude, he just made that ship disappear into thin air. That's extremely powerful!"

You have to have Battle Trophies. when you get a certain amount of them you can change costumes in the Status screen.

Actually, You get it from an item you get from a chest in sphere 211, on floor 114 in a chest near the elevator. Floors 101-211 are only accessible by defeating Gabriel Celestial in the maze of tribulations (The last boss in that dungeon.) Maze of tribulations is unlocked after you beat the main story, and you enter it in the mining town of kirlsa, in the southwestern corner of the town. Have fun getting it...I know i did x.x
