  • This version of this particular track is so awful...

... And yet I can't stop listening to it.

  • this song is spectacular, and quite amusing! Medieval Baebes never fail <3

  • Someday...I will get enough money to bring them to Alaska...oh yes I will...

  • There's something about live you just don't get with studio cuts.

  • i am not confused i am in LOVE :))))

  • @jettiesgirl lol I think I'm the one confused, Amazing song!

  • @jettiesgirl what the hell are you talking about? Why would I blame my own people for anything o_O;

  • @irgy709 ...wow. Also there is a strong feel of attitude and vice in the way is sung. Maybe its just me...

  • thats a totally different song from what ive ever heard.

  • thats a totally different song from what ive ever herd.

  • I love all of the songs ive hear4d from them except this one. This one i really dont like. it hurst my fucking ears.

  • @Luishazong

Dude, please, listen 2 the studio version, it's amazing. This version stinks worse than month old milk. :P

  • This is the first time I've ever heard this type of music and I love it .... Its amazing :)

  • FIRE!! LIGHTNING BOLT!!!!

  • Something tells me there are more virgins in this audience than have ever been thrown into the mouth of a pagan volcano.

  • @JakeBillington Your kind of a jerk....what did the pagans do to you D:<

  • @JakeBillington Lol, volcanos can't be pagans! Silly!

  • Awsome! This is a Middle English tavern song, I still have notes on it from a class I took in college!

  • @ladyofpatientwisdom You attended college? then why the copius spelling and grammatical errors?

  • @woolfall170 All right... typing quickly in the wee hours of the morning, I missed an "e" in "awesome" and my comma should have been a semi-colon. I'm sorry to offend.

  • Great stuff! Love it!

  • wer ist die zweite von links??? von uns aus gesehen.....

  • I got see them live at Lilith Fair and was hooked

  • that is awesome!!!

  • The Baebes are great.....I'm hooked

  • "Ye do me wrong. Or else your breath that's wonder strong!"

    Best line ever!!!

  • I´m hooked on these babes! Great performance. So sensuous and damn desirable. Women in a long, figure hugging dress....

  • they r really great. but it is so much better to hear them in person. i got the chance when they performed at my college in fl. but all the girls didnt show. some of them were preg and others missed their flight. but man all those years back in 2002 and i am still hooked on them

  • Pretty Good version, especially the intercutting of the drums, and the slow, fade-in/out of ghost images; but it is still a bit "deadpan' -- They are just standing around -- suggest cut/cut/cut - intermixing with this static singing video with other scenes -- like big close ups of crazy faces in this story -- shouldn't be explicit-- more suggestive -- a very rough sketch ...

  • Such a great rendition O.O This is one of my favourite songs by Bæbes.

  • Gracias por subir este video

  • I love the Baebes so much!! They rock, and this song is just excellent. Thanks for posting this!!

  • amazing song, love the babes, what more can one say.

  • This is really precious! a humourous and naughty little tale made to look sinister and haunting.. the baebes are very devious girls and the fangs are priceless! wish i was there...

  • This song was written when M-Babes ran a small shop

    "Oh No Tesco Bus,

    Oh No Tesco Bus,

    Taking all my customers

Making my shop soon go bust

    No future small shopkeepers

Sell it all so Tesco must

    No small shops for pensioners

    Oh No Tesco Bus

    Oh No Tesco bus"

  • lol

  • lol

  • Ask not why they have fangs - ask how you'll survive the mid 21st century Food Wars without them

  • Love the Baebes.

  • i saw them at joust in bristol in 2006

  • Great music, but why do they have fangs?

  • Out of context, my favorite phrase of the day :D

  • the fangs where just a gimmick....they were performing on the festival of immortality....get it :-)

  • Actually, they performed a first set as they normally would, and then were led from the stage by vampires. They later emerged, transformed into vampires, to play the second set with the electric band.

  • @LordEikasia it the feastival of immortality they are suppost to be vampires (immortaals)

  • They are not vampires you idiot. Read about the celts!

  • I love this group Mediaeval Baebes....

Now I feel like casting a spell on someone.

    hehe!!

  • Love them! Bite me!

  • I would die a happy death if they would devour me...ah, the fangs. So hot.

  • exellent song

  • She's no idiot she's playing bass which sounds great!

  • l...o...l

  • The Baebes are great live. Seen them several times and the fangs, all I can say is bite me, no really, PLEASE bite me.

  • Its basically talking about a girl and a guy and how the guy is tricked into being pranked by another guy and the guy kisses the other guys ass thats hanging out the window.

I dunno how i figured that out, but there you have it lol ^^ I guess I understand old english lol

  • wait no, there wasn't a second guy...the girl tricked the guy into kissing her ass as she stuck it out the window. These medieval songs sure are raunchy!

  • very unique

  • I love this Mediaeval Baebes video they are so great. I love the sound of their middle English singing and the drummer was a big and sexy looking lady... hehehe!!!

    Jenn

  • whooo rannng myy dooorbelll

  • You aren't a linguist

  • Have seen them live...they were phenomenal!!!! Baebes rule forever!!!

  • All ye who wait for ringo doorbell,

    For Avon Ladee in suburban-Hell

    2.4 kids and supermarket purgatoree

    Petrol's high and you're a mortgage

    repossess-ee

9-hour day and usless office toils see

Do not ye dare ask for whom the dringo bell tolls,

It tolls for none but thee

  • wuts this mean? im kinda slow ^-^'

  • a man comes to the house of a woman

knocked on the door lookin for some lovin

she got up and let him in

but when they went to bed, the poor bastard ("olde churle") couldn't do nothin'

"go to the window, I'll come close"

when she was at the window,

she stuck her ass out for him to kiss

"jesus sweetie, you do me wrong,

"or else your breath is mighty strong!"

it's a perverted excerpt from the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer.

  • Craziest hats ever.

  • They are great!... I love them, here from Peru!

  • They are amazing. I can't believe they have fangs. How neat. They are a great group!

  • "if you've heard 1 song. You heard them al!"

only if you have no appreciation for choral music...

  • they ar so good,, i see them live at castlefest

  • Is it me or have they got fangs?

  • Oh yeah, I saw fangs. God Bless em'. Better than the CD.

  • does anyone have theire spiriti or the circle of the lustful?

  • hahaha, the way they sing it I thought it must be some mysterious druid song or something, but come to read the lyrics and they look more like chaucer...that's amusing. I love them!

  • 21st century oil-addicted economy...do not ask who the (Dringo) bell tolls for; it tolls for thee!

  • Thanks for posting...these ladies were never really well known in North America. Too bad. Quite good stuff.

  • Somtimes I think this band could lose half its members and none of its quality. Beautiful music, as always, but too much is decorative.

  • yeah, but why do that? It's no great loss to us and as of yet it has not caused their sound to deteriorate. Besides, it adds a choral atmosphere to their work. My personal response, anyways.

  • wait..what dirty joke from the middle ages? someone fill me in!!??

  • It's a tale about how a man arranges to meet with a woman after dark - she'll stick her face out of the window and he'll kiss it. Except, to quote Chaucer, "out she thrust her bottom bare", and he kisses that instead.

  • I read a selection of the Canturbury Tales when I was 11 or 12, and I thought that was the funniest thing and never forgot it. (reread it and comepletely discovered it was full of sex...)

  • Found this *right after* reading the Canterbury Tales. If you read the Miller's Tale, he's talking about the same thing. Awesome song.

  • Lyrics? you have the lyrics? Who do you need a binding put on in exchange for a copy?

    femotter

  • damn all of you for not telling me about this! this is great!

  • this is such a sensual song. i love the mediaeval baebes!

  • Sensual? It's a dirty joke from the Middle Ages!

  • i got that when i read the lyrics, the music is sensual though

  • Yeah...yeah, I do see what you mean.

  • Do you have the lyrics for this song?

  • h t t p : / / w w w . lyricsdirect . com / mediaeval-baebes-dringo-bell-lyrics.html

    There ya go :)

  • Wow. I'm not the only person on the planet that listens to the Medieval Baebes. Cool.

  • I first saw them at Renn Fair here in Maryland about 3 years ago. Even met them at the Fair.

  • I used to work at the Renn Fair in aryland (Crownsville) these women weren't there at the time. I worked there back in 2000 though.

  • Dose a DVD of this show exist?

  • went to Joust last year, but this year it didn't work out. oh I wish someone would upload some more Baebes or Miranda Sex Garden videos.

  • *dies* i love these gals, viva la mediaeval baebes

  • Saw them at Joust in July as well...I fell in love at first listen months before....please...do you have more!!!

  • They do it for me every time, Saw them at Joust in July and they are kewl.

  • omg! yes! i've been looking for this for a long time. do they still have the festival of immoratilty?freaking kick ass!

  • The Festival of Immortality was a one night only show in Vancouver, Canada. The Baebes did the show with permission from their record company. The producers were offered to bring the show to Europe by a company their, with the focus on Cirque Vampyre, but unfortunately the money contracts killed the negotiations...so the festival didn't tour!

  • ouch!

  • *Whimper*
