Did you know that ballerinas are dangerous? Their toes are so hard and their legs so strong that if they kick you they can punch a hole in your stumach ! No shit ! You do Not piss-off a Ballerina ,No way !! Take it from me , If you date a ballerina you better do anything she wants and never cheat on her ! They are as temperamental as redheads !! Yes, she has an inner something that brings "a lift" to us all. I am a huge fan. She seems to have a "big" personality, Very warm and she most assuredly has my heart.

She's fantastic!! She looks so at home up on pointe... Like it's nothing. I know that's the way they always want it to look, but I actually had to check a couple times to make sure she was on pointe and not on flat feet, it seemed so natural!!

Osipova is very talented in terms of technique, and of course her jumps are otherworldly--but I find her dancing emotionless and lacking in lyricism.

Of the two, I prefer Vishneva's version, but that's just my opinion.. And Ekaterina Maximova is worth looking up, hers is absolutely flawless! Maximova's an extraordinary dancer.

She is one of the best in the world. Russian ballerinas are some of the best in world. American ballet schools don't even compare to the amount of training and precision that ballerinas are exposed to in Russian dance schools.

I am all for free speech and you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I still disagree with your comment, as do a lot of other ballet fans, I'm sure. I think the Bolshoi has slipped a little in quality recently. Classical ballet is an art form that seems to be suffering. People just don't get it or they don't like it and it isn't funded like it used to be. At least that's how it is in America. So sad.

Nina the ballerina you are talking about may be in your oppinion better but to many others when doing this same piece her back leg is bent in all her jete's and there are many other things wrong with it...the only good thing about it is she has good elevation.

Nina Ananiashvelli is a huge star, a world class ballerina who has proven herself a true artist over and over again over her long career. Diana is still relatively young but is showing herself to be one of the few of the current crop of Kirov/Mariinsky trained ballerinas worthy of international stardom as well.
