Ron ran the old piston powered Madison for a few years against the turbines. I have some good footage of the old piston powered madison going over as well so it did happen to them as well. I think Ron is still racing his boat Sir Ron III in a different class.

the "heavy" piston boat did blow over. the Holset had a turbo Allison in it. And the Oberto at that time had an old Merlin. The Circus and Holset just hit that ocean breezes and went over.
