the canucks arent a bad team.... they're good upfront and have a great goaltender. what they're missing and have been missing for a while is that key defensemen.

you guys need to get rid of sundin and the sedin sisters. they have never won anything and never will. you also need to hold onto luongo. let's face it, without him you are nothing more than an 11th place team as all the experts predicted before the season started
the sedin sisters? who the fuck are you just another person that doesent no shit and lets face it luongo sucked last year he didnt do shit and with out the twins we would be fucked so keep your comments to yourself because you dont know shit and your a fuckin idiot.
Perhaps the biggest loosers of all are Vancouver fans. I was astounded to read that 85% of poll respondents claimed that Canucks 2009 performance was satisfactory/successful. The fact of the matter is Canucks are not worthy such dedicated fans! Their 2009 PO performance can be described as LAZY, SELFISH, and SUCKY. It is not the fact they lost that makes such conclusions, but the manner in which Canucks conducted themselves on the ice.
wow, how are we losers? the whole point of a good fan base is to be behind our team and be dedicated. and having a sweep in the first round against the hottest team in the NHL is not lazy. only allowing 1 or 2 PP goals on 25 PP oppurtunities. if you didn't watch a full canucks game in the post season, don't talk about the post season.
$8.6 million/year, at the age of 38. Not only was he devastatingly slow, he did not deliver a single hit, even though he is the largest Canuck. Apart for a couple of goals, it was as if he was never on the ice.
wrong, i believe Sundin signed for 5 mil considering he came in at the half point of the season. he won faceoffs and i dunno how, but it rubbed off on ryan johnson as well. he did a lot of other things as well.
Salo is the best Canucks defenceman, but he is too injury proun. His 2 games injury came from taking a slap shot. Can't have that if you are playing for the cup. Boston's Rechi played the very next day after having kidney stone removal operation. Demitra took an average hit and was out for the playoffs. Bieksa, a rather good D-man aboslutely nullified all his contributions with a single, unecessary penalty that resulted in game 5 going to Chicago. Then, Luongo totally fell apart in game 6.
all players bodies are different. Salo's body is just like that. sometimes shit happens, maybe he pulled something when taking the shot, its happened to me before. Demitra has taken hits like that before but maybe it just hit him in the wrong spot, you get what im saying? the refs were horrible throughout the series so don't get started with the officiating. that will probably be the only game you'll see where Lu completely falls apart. if there was a game 7, im sure he would have had a shutout.
I am only mad at myself for actually believing that Canucks had a chance of winning the Western Conference in 2009 playoffs. Their play can be described as half-ass, selfish, unworthy of the Vancouver fans. They have not played 60 minutes of dedicated hockey once in this series. Mitchell and Kesler should be sent to the minors, since they both think its OK to blindly send the puck up the middle in own zone. Them two cost us both games 5 and 6. Ohlund and Sundin should retire IMMEDIATELY.
why do you think that? The Canucks had all the tools to go to the Cup finals too, they just turned it over at the wrong time and thought luongo was going to bail them out. and ohlund wont retire but im sure Sundin will.
Unfortunately, Mike Gillis is doing all in his power to persuade Sundin for another season in Vancouver. They are buddies, so personal interest is the main component, not the overall benefit for the team. Sorry, but Canucks DID not have the tools to make it anywhere. The main componenet in playoffs is the BRUTE intensity of wanting to win more than the other guy. No skill can overcome that 4 times out of 7.
hey OT but did you see me post? i just posted something to your previous comment but its not showing up, weird...
but yeah, willie mitchell's TO in game 4 was the series changer but its a TO, those coming from Willie won't be often. Mats sundin had 8 points in 8 games in the playoffs, can't really see how he was invisible and had no contribution. give Ohly a break, he was force to play a lot of minutes along with Bieksa when salo got injured.
Sundind, at age 38, was signed at $8.6 MILLION/year. It is an understatement to say that the management expected him to be the difference maker. Well, he was, only for the wrong team. Sundin is the biggest Canuck, yet he did not deliver a single hit. His on-ice presence and performance were ultimately super weak. The only reason Canucks are stuck with such a bad player is b/c Gillis is his friend. The bottom line is that Canucks paid $8.6 million/year for a player to win 7/10 face-oofs.
In the beginning, theres NO REFERENCE TO THE DEPARTURE OF LINDEN?????????????!!!!!!!!! It says the loss of a leader, so I'm thinking "Here's Linden!" and it comes up with NASLUND!! That guy hasnt been a leader since like 03!! That upsets me!
Dude, Kick ASS video. I've seen so many crappy vids that people keep posting. This is truley epic. I wish I could make videos like this. Keep em coming. The further we go in the playoffs, the more videos you should make. One for every series. Nice job man!!!

Most guilty
#1. WiIlly Mitchell - Unecesary penalties, weak defensive plays, turnovers
#2. Alain Vigneault - Failing to keep team focused, adjust the game plan, and prevent panick
#3. Mattias Ohlund - Too many inconsiderate penalties and too many weak defensive plays.
#4. Matts Sundin - Invisible on the ice, no contribution, no hits, a fat "0"
#5. Shane O'Brien - Weak handling, perception, and implementation of game plan, turnovers
