  • nice to know some people respect the bettas

  • Ohh he looks so happy and healthy <3

  • Lovely fish.

  • Fake!

  • nice job! i have a similar Betta in a 3.5 gallon tank whered u get the glass bobble?

  • beautiful

  • he dosnt even use a quarter of the tank

  • myn is in 4 gallons

  • He's pretty

  • You've such a pretty tank! How do you keep it clean? Cause some people do 100% water changes and others just 50%..

  • I got a blue betta with red fringes and he was sick recently. Yours looks much healthier.

  • u know what i luv it so much im gonna subscribe

  • beautifull betta and perfect home for him ^^

  • is 10 gallon to big for 1 betta?

  • I have my betta in a hex 5, 5 gallon too. It so good to see other people like me who can see how much these fish do use up and enjoy every bit of the space you give them, if you give them enough:)

  • You, like very few people know how to take care of a siamese fighting fish so thumbs up!! They are so misunderstood. Try to get live plants :) your betta might tear his fins on those :)

  • this is really nice. I appreciate the tank the decor and Culligan. I just got my fish first time for pet and all. but i have him in a little box type fish tank. no frills cause don't have enough to get him a better home yet. I wish he could have friends cause for me he's alone. but as they say they are the fighting fish. sounds nuts. my friends say that in Japan they put these little guys to fight each other. Thanks for the great video with petting and all. It's been only 4 days or so

  • i love this! your bettas "garden" is georgus. and its got the nicest shinest tale ive ever seen, although ive seen a dieing betta (my last baby bubba) and that wasnt so swell.

  • He's pretty. :)

  • What are this tank's dimensions?

  • Hey watch my betta videos at yummydonuts575

  • filters are really bad for betta's. they have a special gill where they can't 'breathe' under water. they constantly need to come up for air and make a bubble nest. if you have a filter it will make a small current at the top of the tank, and the Betta won't be able to make a bubble nest. other than that, you have a beautiful tank set-up!

  • To many plants, I suggest on removing one od the.big plants

  • u dont need to give him a heater unless ur thinkin bout breeding him.

  • That looks like an acrylic tank, am I correct? I have my walmart rescue betta 'Ichigo' in a one gallon acrylic and I'm hoping to upgrade to a 5 gallon glass tank.

The inside of his tank is extremely reflective, I often see him attacking the walls. He opens his mouth as wide as he can and smacks into the wall. This is why I really want to upgrade to a bigger glass tank. Does Culligan have that problem too?

  • This is beautiful I love his tank! and the lotus flowers and how he swims around so happy Good Job!! ;D

  • Bdafan274, so being a man means harming animals that have no control over where or what situation put them in? You're pathetic. I'm in love with animals, and I guarantee I could kick your ass. I have a beautiful red crowntail Betta named Alpha, unfortunately he's in a one gallon bowl as the 5 gallon tank and heater I ordered are in transit.

  • I live in Southwest Florida, do I need a heater?

  • @AaahItsHannah yes betta fish like really hot water usually around 98 degrees

  • @andyjohns0n

I would like to change the temp of water for my betta, but he always lives in cold water, and don't they get put into shock when going into different water?

  • @SpecOpsStormTrooper If you allow him to adjust to the new temperature gradually (either by adding small amounts of the new water to his existing container) or by floating him (in a cup/bag) in the new container for a while, then you can put him into the new temperature once it's stabilized. 78-79 degrees is ideal. (Do not put your betta in 98 degree water; he'll die.)

  • @andyjohns0n naaahhh dude just put him in 98 degree water he 'll be fine its when the water goes from hot to cold they gp into shock

  • @andyjohns0n O_o 98 degrees would kill a betta. They can "survive" a short duration in temperatures above 80, but their ideal temp is 78-79 degrees.

  • i think its so relaxing to watch the swim.

  • Hey, I have the same filter I think.. I little tip on the current if you find it's too strong is right where the water exits the filter, place an aquarium sponge...it really helps.

  • who the hell will dislike this video it was beautiful -cry-

  • I finally uploaded video on my Pink Dalmatian Betta ..

    check it out !

  • Where did you get that tank? Thanks!

  • He looks so happy! What a beautiful tank & fish! ♥

He seems to like swimming through that 'current' at the top (1:25). He turns around and does it again at 2:00, and 2:23, lol. Aw, how nice that your BF got this for you as a gift - sounds like a sweetheart ;)

Music adds a nice touch too, while watching him swim =)

  • did you cycle the new tank?

  • How cute you can tell your betta is very healthy his color is beautfiul!!

  • makes me happy

  • Hi i dont think shrimp is good as they can be naturally prey to the bettafish. I will recommend cory or pelco as they are hardly irritated by the betta if you wan a bottom cleaner. They are excellent and hardworking. Nice decorated tank! =). Anyway, fish like betta prefer wider long tank than vertical long tank unless angel fish. Due to their long tail, so u may wan to get a 5 to 10 gallon long length tank next time, it will look as beautiful too and the fish will live happier inside.

  • Beautiful tank and fish, lovely set-up. :)

  • wow thats a nice fish

  • nice betta olease do visit my channel too

  • you do beutiful tank set ups!and pick the right betta to go along with it!

  • This is so nice and colorful

  • I was driven here by your comments on your Marimo from the UK. Some had arrived brown? I was told to place in water in the fridge for a week then give them a nice place to come back. Because they live on lake beds they require much less light than we assume and I've been told over heating and too much light are the worst for them. Next time order from Arizona Aquatic Gardens online. They have a great price and mine arrived in perfect condition and larger than I imagined about 3" in diameter.

  • Your betta is gorgeous! I love the decoration and the background music! Nice job :)

  • he is amazing my first betta was the exact same color i loved him and than he died from neon tetras attacking him in the night time i was so upset, the pet store never told me how many were ok to put in with him... they were eating his fins but he was a champ got everyone of them before he passed him self i could tel he was dieing and there was nothing i could do so they told me to put aqua salt in a bag of water and put him in the freezer that he would slowly just go to sleep and die :(

  • Your tank is small

  • @laffableComedy

5 gallons is great for a betta. Especially considering they get shipped in little baggies. This guy is definitely in heaven.

  • @laffableComedy u r a nob of course it only for a betta

  • @MrGman0909 Bettas need ten gallons of water to thrive; five gallons is at the MINIMUM. Imagine living in a space the size of your kitchen your entire life.

  • awesome set up! i have this same aquarium. my betta is red and blue kind of like yours:)

  • Good job, very pretty tank!

  • Attention ALL Dicks OF the INTERNET in my country we do make the fish fight because we can. Vietnam has many bettas and many rice paddies. DO please stop being a mother fucker and man up

  • So pretty! I ordered that tank and I'm gonna copy your theme somewhat, except for I'm getting sand and prolly blue flowers. But I really like the way yours looks.

  • I'm more into Crown tails (CT) or Half Moons (HM) but thats a really nice looking fish!

  • I hate seeing bettas fighting or in tiny bowls/tanks its better for them to be in a bigger tank or bowl like this one that way they could swim around and be happy

  • @zooyorkadriant well i think that it is big to them he seems happy

  • he's beautiful and the tank is GREAT! i love how it's set up!

  • your fish is so pretty! I might be getting my one Betta soon

  • hey your betta fish is a long tail :)

  • is the fish still ok?

  • the filter is 2 strong for him

  • nice tank but u hav a little 2 much plants in the tank

  • Comment removed

  • i love it when i see a person treating they're Betta like royalty instead of the cockroach fish, i give you a thumbs up for keeping good care of your Bettas instead of watching them fight like some people

  • @SocomSniper16

    FucK u F.U.C.K U

  • @SocomSniper16 i know i do

  • Hey,Where did you buy your decor? I want to make the same tank, your tank is very pretty.

  • lol i have the same tank for my betta :)

  • he looks like mine I called him Angel I got him yesterday. he is so smart and will look me in the eye when I go to his tank.

  • He's lovely! Have you tried doing live plants with your betta yet? I've got my guy with living plants and he just loves them!

  • for being a first time betta owner, your doing really well! Most experienced betta owners give their fish tiny tanks:(

  • Comment removed

  • Really you do not need a 5 gallon tank for a betta fish but you can have one if you want, a betta fish only needs a minimun of 1 gallon of water not 2. I had a betta fish in a clear flower vase and it lived for almost 3 years and it was happy and healthy. Most people think you need to go all out with betta fish but not really just make sure they have clean water some plants fake plants r good and u feed them and they will live for years the only major thing to be worried about is it getting sick

  • beautiful tank, that is a happy betta fish :)

  • where did you get the tank from???

  • That is the bst tank ever for a betta fish the Eclipse Hex 5 gallon tank, I have a veil tail on a standard Aqueon 10 gallon tank and I don't care what they say they don't do well in there they seem to prefer more cubic vertical type of space I think 5 gallon is a great size I saw my bettas swimming around more on a 5 gallon than on a 10 g.

  • serious please kindly tell me what kind of plants inside the tank? are natural or artificial? thanks

  • OMG MY FISH LOOKS ESACTLY THE SAME!

  • i have to ask.. where did you get that amazing glass bobble toy? i absolutely adore it and would love one for my halfmoon boy :)

  • My beta fish is in around 2 gallon tank, he acts sad thoug he doesnt swim around much, does yours do the same?

  • lol! he reminds me of my betta because he swims crazily also!

  • He is GEORGEOUS! he looks just like my first... R.I.P. Aqua :(

  • That's a beautiful fish. I see this video was added a little over 2 years ago, how's the fish holding up?

  • @Luxornv I think he's dead by now.

  • Your tank is really beautiful! So is your betta :D

  • beautiful color m fish and nice tank. I thought the music was pretty cool too.

  • thanks for actually taking care of your pet betta fish i have mine in a 20 gallon community tank

  • u know what would make your tank cooler..... try getting some real plants cuz betta like real plants

but still u have 1 of the best tank i ever seen. 5 stars

  • u know what would make your tank cooler..... try getting some real plants cuz betta like real plants

but still u have 1 of the bet tank i ever seen. 5 stars

  • This is so great and you treat ur betta very very well :)

  • Really pretty tank! I thought about a 10 gallon for my future betta but now I think I'm leaning towards 5. he seems pretty content in this one.

  • i love the music, get the ghost shrimp yet?

    p.s. what song is this?

  • does anyone know y my betta wont eat its food??

  • @bun314 Some are picky eaters, you can try frozen bloodworms or the tiny freeze dried shrimp, there's betta flakes or pellets, and fish shaped waffer things that are food for like a week. One of those should be appetizing to your betta.

  • awesome website u led me to

  • He's gorgeous.

  • We, literally, just got a fish that looks a lot like yours. (STORY TIME) One of my relatives had the fish and figured that it was to much of a hassle to take care of, so she came to our house and put him on the porch (she probably knocked but we didn't hear). And it is FREEZING outside. When Dad noticed him, he looked, felt, and acted dead. We pretty much gave up until dad started heating the cup he was in and pretty much shocked him back to life! (I was watching this video when he came in)

  • teu aquario e muito bonito:) Portugues Brasil

  • This is the best betta video around

  • im looking at my betta in his 25 gallon take right above me ontop of my desk then back to this, and i see they are freaking clones but dude im glad u dont keep him in a puny 1 gallon

  • Culligan has magnificent coloration, and to those who say that "Betta fish Kill their tankmates", it is another tragic myth. If you stick to the 1:2 ratio of inches and gallons, Bettas make perfect community members in a tank. All of the Bettas I have owned got along swimmingly (no pun intnded) in a community tank. The rule is that there should only be 1 male betta per tank (females shouldn't be kept with males either, aside from times when they are being bred, but do fine with other females).

  • I got a 10 gallon tank 6 months ago, and my betta gets along perfectly well with one plecostomus (sucker fish), 2 mickey mouse platys, and 2 cory catfish. Its another betta myth that they cant be put with ANY other fish. Just do your research on what types of fish are betta-compatible before putting any new fish in your tank! And Ive had Ghost Shrimp too, but the two that I had randomly died.. :/

  • Hey how's the filter on the tank? I've been debating on whether or not to get this tank, and it seems to have mixed reviews (about the filter)

  • lol my betta ate my two ghost shrimp after allowing them to live peacefully with him for two weeks, ah well fresh food....

  • I saw a tank u have at Wal-mart. Also I have the same dry food u have for my betta. Love the music. He really likes those plants. Follow the finger. lol.

  • Betta fish hates friends

  • thats cruel get him some friends

  • @ninja6kid If you get him "friends" he will most likely kill his "friend"

  • if your tank is big enough no, he wont. they are teritorial they will choose a spot of the tank they like and mark it with air bubbles, if another comes near or into his area he will atack. in this size tank i wouldint put more than 2. but atleast its a friend

  • @ninja6kid well, you can't put betta's together, that still doesn't eliminate them as a community fish, I have an african dwarf frog with my betta and they get along fine despite occasionally eating eachothers food, despite this though, they still prefer to be alone, this is far from cruel

  • @ninja6kid bettas usually kill their "friends". They like to be alone.

  • What is the song, please???

  • I want one so bad

  • can you tell me what you're doing in the water so that it is so clear? because I have a betta and the water becomes cloudy very quickly

  • @Nicole96nicky With a proper biological filter and appropriate water changes in a 5+ gallon tank, it is very easy to keep the water crystal clear.

  • look just like mine (:

  • Culligan looks very happy. I'm going to buy myself a betta and I'm going to call him Shen. I have an 8 gallon tank but I'm not sure if it is too big for a betta. Should I buy a 5 gallon?

  • @BettaFishFan 8G would be a decent size too! However, that is quite a large size though, maybe you might consider heavily planting that space as well? In their natural habitat, they have a lot of plants/coverage....

  • @BettaFishFan

Like TheConsenses said, the fact that bettas like small spaces is a myth and the bigger the tank is the better! Betta's can be very happy in large aquariums- The best I've seen are kept in 10 gallons, if not larger. 8 gallons should be perfect, plus you would have room to put in some shrimp, snails, and maybe ( MAYBE ) even a bottom feeder.

  • omg now i want a betta but i have gold fish

  • Oh! I have a toy thing like thatt!! Do they really play with it? I have a betta, and i have 3 of those...I have no clue where they are, but if they like them, i'll go find them!

So does he really play with it?

That would be a cool video- him playing with it.

  • i have a female betta and her name is rainbow because shes colorful i love your fish too.

  • Please!!!, what' s the sound???, is very beautiful!!!.

    Thank you very much.

  • Beautiful home but the updates sound awesome too. I'm a new beta owner now and my fish live in large vases for now till I can afford better tanks. That 5-gallon is a really nice one and your Veil Tail is the most beautiful one I've seen yet! Around here we only get the muddy mixed colors, like the one my son has (I have a vid of him and my Rose Tail).

BEAUTIFUL fishy and beautiful home ^_^

  • What a beautiful betta! I was planning on getting a betta fish in the next couple of weeks, but after reading that website you posted, I'm going to have to do a little extra planning! Thank you for posting!!

  • i have two betta's and they are both males both of them are my first bettas. I want to get another one but i'm not sure if i should get a male or female...

  • Beautiful(:

  • Is he still alive? :)

  • thats what I call a happy betta

  • Wow this vid inspired me to get a 5 gallon hex tank for my betta,Milo, I am sure he will be much happier :)

  • Wow I have looked everywhere around my town for a perfect blue betta and did not see one at all.

  • i never knew plastic plants could look so beautiful. i always use real plants. this vid has changed my mind. i still prefer live plants though

  • GORGEOUS! both the tank and the betta

  • very beautiful tank

  • Cool, your tank setup is beautiful :D

  • awwww he naps godbless all ur fishys i hope they live until atleast u die

  • Beautiful fish & beautiful tank - great to see a betta that isn't being kept in a tiny jar/ cup :)

  • you should make another video =] the calming music goes along with your betta fish

  • Pretty. I like the single-colored bettas.

  • beautiful

  • can i keep a female betta and a male betta in a 5 gallon tank? would they reproduce? how many baby betta can they have?

  • he is a delta, not veil tail

  • @superbettaman No, he's most definitely a veiltail.

  • what is the toy that you were talking about at 1:09= 1:15. Where did you find it?

  • @MrNightwatcher12 Pretty sure it is a toy starfish that is connected to a glass bubble with a string. I have a fish version of it. (Made out of glass, string is plastic.)

  • @Sketchya0 Do you remember where you got it, the fish toy connected to glass bubble for fish tank?

  • i finally put a vid on my silver crowntail and my other betta so people check it out

  • whats the name of the song?

  • beautiful tank and fish!

  • song name?

  • I'd love a tank like that! It'd be hell to lug around though. =/

  • im wondering is a silver betta rare yes or no because i just got 1 today
