  • Well you kept up pretty good, even for having a 4 door truck. I know the new f150's are heavy trucks.

  • *used*

  • Yeah...thats what fords are use to seeing: tailgates and taillights.

  • makes my heart so warm to see that 20 year old chev just plain embaress that brand spanking new ford, and made me piss myslef laughing when the guy in the chev turned around and looked at the ford with the biggest smile on his face and waved good bye,

  • @onlypresto I normally would argue with most people however, I can plainly see you are the smartest person ever to bless us with your insight and wisdom, Thank you for your unbeleivable articulation and mechanical expertise. You are a really fart smeller oops, I mean smart feller

  • Chevy sounds like it's on the last leg...

  • Check out 505xracing and see how my gt mustang left that 383 standing at one place just like a rock, lmao.......

  • WTF man dat wasn't a even race, I tried to slow him down to a dead start but he kept goin, so I'm gona race him again and this time its gona be a dead start, but my truck has a 6" lift wit 20x12 rims on 325/50 r20 now. I'll posted on my site when I get a chance.

  • he needed a bigger scoop lmao its a little sad that that 383 stroker had a hard time against a stock truck

  • Since it's only 2 days old, I'm assuming that engine was still in its break-in period? Which means that it restricts its power until it's been broken in. Had it been past that stage, it would have kept up with that Chevy no problem

  • Does that POS chevy seriously have a hood scoop? What a tool bag:)

  • 23 mpg ford? thats what ford claims.....

  • have an 83 thats right 83 chevy pickup, and it gets 30+ mpg, Oh but no i cant cause its not a ford and old right? wrong! you combine an inline 6 250 engine with a 1 barrell carb, and a 4 speed. so wow ford finally made a truck over 25 mpg, as long as its a short box single cab 2wd, its called fine print, factory means nothing tunig is everything.

  • Please Chevy lovers just post all videos you can find of the Chevy trucks beating the Ecoboost, I've got an extra 10 minutes to watch the 3 videos you may find.

  • of course that modded ass 383 was gonna beat the stock v6 ford ecoboost. but put that 383 whack as chevy against a roush charged f150 and Ford will call it a day and chevy will be left in shame like it has been ever since they first tried racing Ford. Ford is raw

  • @DanielLawless1 you know how fast the ecoboost is? just right behind the f150 6.2 & FYI Silverado 6.2 is the fastest full size truck of them all...but put that roush f150 again the silverado ss 427 just to prove that Chevy Runs Deep all over Ford!!!

  • @805MustangKilla put the 427 against the saleen f150 and chevy once again loses. anything chevy does Ford beats EVERY TIME! so stop trying you already lost.

  • @DanielLawless1 Yeah that's why ford cant get past the corvette... Chevy always been a step ahead & FYI the 427 will kill the saleen f150.. its only offered in ext can & the Chevy's a single cab..big weight difference plus it has a corvette engine..Fords Biggest Fear!! haha

  • @805MustangKilla the 2013 shelby gt500 is faster than the zr1 vette. upgraded to a 5.8 liter engine with a new Eaton TVS unit supercharger. it gives the gt500 620 horsepower right out of the factory. and the new vette has their 6.2 liter supercharged. but whats even better... you have to spend $50,000 MORE to get the slower corvette than to get the faster GT500

  • @DanielLawless1 r u serious? it only does 0-60 in 3.8sec even the Camaro ZL1 beats it..Corvette ZR1 does 0-60 in 3.3sec it will destroy that car..& u dont gotta waste the extra money to buy a ZR1 when u can get the Z06 for about $70K & still destroy it doing 0-60 in 3.6sec

  • @805MustangKilla the stock ford gt does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. so how would the faster gt 1000 only do it in 3.8. that was a lie. and was most likely the dumbest thing i have ever heard. you dont have to change the numbers on 0-60 times to make the vette sound faster. the zr1 did do it in 3.3 sec. but the gt1000 can do it faster.

  • @DanielLawless1 i said the GT500 does 0-60 in 3.8 sec dumbass.. ur comparing the GT1000 witch is not stock & made by Hennessy ..try comparing that to the corvette Lingenfelter witch does the 1/4 mile in 10 sec & you know stock on stock the ZR1 kills the GT40

  • @805MustangKilla the corvette zr1 does a quarter mile in 11.1 seconds. not 10

  • Comment removed

  • @DanielLawless1 & the lingenfelter corvette in 9.81

  • @DanielLawless1 Hate to burst your bubble, the Vette is about 500 lbs lighter..

  • @805MustangKilla and the ford gt1000 smokesssss the zr1 vette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLY!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DanielLawless1 That Ford GT1000 is made by Hennessy not a production car like the ZR1..its like comparing that car against the Corvette ZR1 Lingenfelter.. their just made better by different companies

  • @805MustangKilla type in gt1000 vs zr1 and watch the first video. and if you still dont like it then watch the second one too. just to prove you wrong.

  • & Even the older Chevy's Killing These New Fords

  • @805MustangKilla A 5.0 f150 would've been much closer and a 6.2 f150 would've walked the 383, about the same displacement between the 383 and the 6.2 Ford but the Ford is a more advanced design and breathes better.

  • @SirKowalski666 For being that old compared to these trucks..thats pretty quick

  • @805MustangKilla Not really...he should've went with higher compression, like 11 to 1 Keith Black aluminum pistons or something similar, and a camshaft with more duration to accomodate a big carb, like a 1050 cfm double pumper. Or he could've just gone with a 396 big block or 454 lol I prefer the big blocks, nothing quite like 'em

  • Chevy Runs Deep

  • Makes me miss my v8!

  • that what i thought chevy all the way .. nice try though

  • WOW

    didn't expect that

  • 23 MPG ford did pretty well against 12 MPG loud ass truck

  • @Foxboss9 23mpg isnt shit i bet that 383 if he keeps his foot out of it would better mpgs.

  • @YoungerPrice When you keep you foot out of the Ecoboost you get 28-30 mpg

  • @YoungerPrice Seriously you sound like an idiot.

  • @YoungerPrice

Are you smoking crack??? There is no way in hell that 383 would get better gas mileage than the Ecoboost engine! That 383 will eat up the gas!

  • @Streetsoldier1979 if its carbed and tuned right with a od trans and tight stall with 373s it should get atleast 18 mpg but its EFI it will pull and easy 23+mpg.been there and done it with my 388 vortec regal.BUT if it has a loose stall and high gears then ya it will get shitty mpg since in the powerband more.

  • @Foxboss9 actually....that 15MPG ford failed miserably against a "who cares"MPG chevy,once he down shifted,you tool!

  • @mattsrepair10 Wow, an old piece of crap barely beat a new eleventymillion times nicer truck. Congrats on having a high 13 second turd!

  • @ironbloodus that old "peice of crap" plainly walked away from that gaudy peice of shit, chevrplet every day mother fucker

  • @Foxboss9 not really moron, considering that 12mpg "loud ass truck" walked away from his ass like he was in reverse, and more like 17-18 mpg "loud ass truck" cause that little old chev has a ford speed auto just like the ford moron, plus the ecoboost aint gettin 23mpg, might say that on the window sticker but its prob gettin more around 16-17, boosted motors always need more fuel to compensate for the extra air being forced into the motor, so get your facts straight fagboy

  • @onlypresto I am willing to bet money that old piece of shit doesn't get anywhere near 18mpg..oh, and the Ford has a SIX speed auto..numbnuts. Good friend has a new ECOBOOST. Get's as advertised mileage on the highway. You obviously don't know a whole lot about boosted engines, when not in boost i.e. vacuum..they don't require extra fuel! Imagine that.

  • @ironbloodus well you would lose that money, i admit i was wrong about the number of gears it has, but to say a forced induction motor doesnt requir mor fuel is proves that your the one who doesnt know anything about boosted motor, combustion is when a specific air to fuel ratio is exploded, and when more are is pushed into the motor there fore requireing more fuel, man, im in tech school right now for building performance motors, i think i'de be the one to know what hes saying

  • @ironbloodus and that truck has a veary good chance of 18mpg, the factory transmision in that truck was a four speed automatic, the fourth gear being an overdrive with a 1:1 ratio, and they had lock up torque converters witch means his motor could spin a veary low amount of rpms with less power and maintain the orgional speed, and if he did'nt have that 700r4, and something else like th350 or 400, you would be right, now killl your selfe fagboy

  • @Foxboss9 Your talking MPG's? What a fag. That old ass chevy walked the dog on that Ford. Don't get me wrog it's a badass truck but it kills me how people always want to make excuses after their brand gets spanked!

  • @fiendwithout Did he get beat? yes. Did he, as you put "walk the dog"? I assuming you mean beat him bad? well no. the distance he beat him by,, puts that chevy at best a mid to high 13 second truck.( I'm really given alot of leeway here Im really thinking closer to about a 14 sec). Now consider he's running a stroker in a reg cab, w/open exhaust and a stick!....I dont know what you guys consider quick, but, I would never jump on the "Chevy, you go girl" bandwagon beating a stock econo truck.

  • hell yea she actually ran with it.... now,,, lets put twin turbo's on the 383 and try again

  • Holy shit that chevy sounds amazing!

  • The Ecoboost is a great performer...But you just can't beat that sweet V8 sound...That's why I went with the 5.0L.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 shoulda got the 6.2

  • @turbodreamst88 I might have gotten the 6.2L if they had offered it the model I wanted (FX4 Supercab) but since they don't offer in that trim I went the 5.0L...Not disapointed in by any means...It runs great and has more power than I'll ever need and still give's me that wonderful V8 growl.
