I agree with the overall point here, but it seems in just a couple of your moral arguments, you're treating countries and governments as autonomous individuals. How does it follow that the American government is hypocritical if their current stance is against nuclear proliferation, but they used nuclear weapons in the past? I think it's safe to say that no one who made the decision to bomb Japan is currently in the American government, so how could they possibly be held responsible?
