and just for the record me and my wife pick up homeless people once a month and take them to eat and bath, and if not we pich in and give money to them advising them to not buy drugs but to spend it on something positive or that they need, i been there and done that but i " CHOSE" to pick myself up, shit i lived in abandoned cars in the northwest while snowing with no money or blankets or food, shit i also lived in an abandoned house for almost 8 months shit i know what it is to be homeless...

I think for anyone to say it's plain laxiness is ignorant. Most of the people posting on youtube right now have never been in a situation where they had no place to stay. Saying they should find a job doing odd jobs and save up is ignorant. would you pick a homeless man up to do work around your house? ...like country wise and stuff....shit i still go threw homeless ways from time to time, cuz i like going back and forth from Wa. state back to Tx. state where im originally from, for the fact that i go visit my kids up there and at times i find myself being homeless when i do that cuz at my age its pretty tuff finding work right away at times,...so i feel for most of them, but a big portion of homelessness is also because some of them "CHOOSE" to be in positions like that because of there..

...take care of our own, like the saying goes: how can you take care of someone else when one at times cant or barely take care of themselves, thats what my foster parents use to say to me when i always tried helping out my troubledsome friends or homeless people every time i saw one of them, and till this day i still help out knowing i got problems of my own but because as a kid i been there and done that, i just think we need to start within our own "THEN" to help others....

i think we need to start cleaning up the streets by helping out homeless people, theres alot of them that are x vetrans and people that just wasnt that intellagent throughout life within education or a trade and simply just need help with a positive push, America has troops out at wars that been there before it all started, were helping other countries with there aid in education, poverty and wealth when we should be pertaining to our own, in education, poverty and wealth, we need to or should..

Here's an idea. Scrape up some money doing odd-jobs around the city, invest in some decent clothes, work on your speech and how to speak properly. Apply at as many jobs as possible(Try to look decent when you ask for applications) and land a job. Save, move somewhere where you can live cheap. Rent a cheap apartment, and you're good.
