I'm such a dress person I wear them in the winter with thermals or sweat pants under them. I have this really nice green skirt though, that's warm enough not to have to do that. I just finished my semester at school so I may try and do something like this.
How would you do this with fabric that is not stretchy. I can see this with something to wear to a more formal gathering....want to use fabrics such as brocade or Sari fabrics.
@MrsKehino if you want to use a non stretchy fabric it's better if you find your own measurements, also from my experience, give a lot of seam allowance if you feel insecure, because if it turns out too big you can always sew.. you have to be careful about the bust and waist area, sometimes you will need to do folds...
if you do the hemming first of the arms and neck line then piece the two faces together it is alot easier to hem everything!!! and make sure you do stay stitching so the fabric does not tear when you place in the wash other wise this is a quick and easy idea!!! :)
How do you sew stretchy fabric on a domestic machine? Is it elastic thread?

@alyssiaart12 I know but with that lady's complexion and hair colour I think that colour would suit her well. :)
