  • @nazikiller13 - there arent guards, it's a city

  • song plz

  • This video is creepy, it is worse than the worst horror movie.

  • With love,, from Russia.. \m/

God bless ppl of Pripyat.. I m from 1ne of those abandoned houses... +_+

  • I can't imagine what passed the people of Pripyat...

After all, I'd like to visit it, I hear someone do tours here... but they are expensive, I guess.

Disasters like these must never happening.

  • If I were there I would take some souvenirs

  • Hey is that LT.Price? 2:24

  • Man. U got some balls.

  • Man,you say is not that terrible?.You see the people who live there? If thei live there they have no choce to get out off there becouse off money.

  • song?

  • I was in Chernobyl,is not that terrible.

  • I find it weird how Pripyat hasn't been inhabited since the 1980's and when you look at it, it all still looks like the late 80's. Such as the classroom, pictures and the furniture etc.

  • guess this answers the question of what cities look like when we're gone.

  • Thumbs up if you're have strange feeling in your stomach.

  • @MultiJakob2 you are totally right! music and pictures have the perfect effect... :o

  • how did you get in? aren't there guards blocking the entrance ?

  • @nazikiller13 Yes they are but you just give tham a pack of cigarettes and all the dors are open for you.

  • PAINTBALL AND AIRSOFT OPORTUNITY!!!!!

just joking but this is really strange and in same time really interesting...a town stoped in time and in evolution!! we could still see many factos from cold communism!

  • One more question: The explorers on this video don't wear any anti-radiation suits?

  • @Miskin432 No se,Pero Si No Tenian,Uff

  • @Miskin432 most of the radiation is gone in most parts

  • It's creepy but also fascinating , one day I really would like to go there and see what happens, when you leave a town to live its own life without people.

  • and at 2:06 seconds says: Take the time to work! БЕРЕТ РАБОЧЕЕ ВРЕМЯ

  • could someone please inform me on reactors, when they melt down do they cause the same affect as a nuclear bomb, or is it a different type of outcome due to materials....?

  • wtf...why is there a toilet in the middle of the yard O.o

  • If it so dangerous, why is this person walking all over the place taking footage ? ? ?

  • @Avalon400 they have tours of Chernobyl and Pripyat, the tour costs $199 per person, and they provide you with a geiger counter so u can steer clear of the high radiation areas, its safe to walk around the area as long as ur skin doesnt touch anything

  • @doughnutriot yeah right, reflection without an camera...

  • no

  • bet you clicked this video because of toilet =(

    (me not)

  • I think it is wierd how everything is frozen in time. No wind, no dust floating around, nothing moving at all. Perfectly still.

  • the song makes it creepy along with the the fact i saw a show about the ghosts of Chernobyl, when the saw the ghost on a night vision inferred camera. by the way whats this song called?

  • let's go find some artifacts in those anomalies!

  • La URSS la consideraba "la ciudad del futuro" ._.

  • Stalker

  • That is insane O.O

  • @Swampertchamp So do I...

  • I really hate that people only know Chernobyl and Pripyat because of a game >:(

  • @Swampertchamp i never saw any Text or article about it in my school days. nothing ever showed up about it until i found out about it on CoD4. i hate that too but it needs to be in American Study books now :(

  • @Swampertchamp your right friend, but you got to see that everyone learn something from someplace! if it wasnt the history channel i wouldnt know about chernobyl disaster...

we dont lecture this in school!

  • @Swampertchamp I know...sucks

  • @Swampertchamp not true, at all

  • isn't this also a call of duty 4 map?

  • @xRuneCinema yea, it is a map on call of duty 4, i didn't know this place actually existed til i saw it on the news a couple months ago

  • Thanks for posting this video. I think Chernobyl is something we should all learn about even though I didn't learn about it in school I think they should teach about it atleast or history is doomed to repeat itself. So, did you have to wear a mask when you took this video?.

  • @gothhearse There's barely radiation in Chernobyl these days. There's not enough to kill you. Hell, I don't even think it'll hurt you.

  • The piano freaked me out. hang on, how did you film it? I thought your not allowed in chernobyl? oh, its prypiat! fair enough.

  • The piano freaked me out. hang on, how did you film it? I thought your not allowed in chernobyl?

  • People actually lived here, and half of the comments say stuff off of Call of Duty 4. So that's all they can think about. People had a life, a family and homes and half of you Bastards can only think of a game? You make me sick. Honestly, my cousin died in that and, my granddad. So if you really don't care about all of this, and only care about a game, why bother viewing this when people like me are doing this so they can remember their family? Sickos.

  • =) mano arriba =)

  • Sooo no one lives there ??? Anymore??

  • 3:43 , call of duty 4 XD

  • I am Ukrainian and I live in 60 km from Chernobyl. It's almost nothing dangerous in it.

  • wheres captain macmillan when you need him

  • Can I live there for free?

  • its impossible to rebuild that city its there for life and now just a creepy memory for the humain been

  • I just read about Pripyat and I was totally caught by the history and images. Is hard for me to believe that place exists.

    Is terrible.

    Cheers from México :)

  • My nephew recently camped in Chernobyl during a hiking trip to Ukraine. He said access controls around the area were poor to non-existent, & that it was dead easy to get in & walk around.

He says it was an amazing place- “Full of natural wonders. Plants & animals have almost completely taken over all the buildings, making it seem like a garden of Eden. Can’t wait to go back!”

He has some bizarre idea to set up a ‘commune’ there, for those who ‘reject outdated notions of economic development’.

  • @SuperTruth77= I wouldn't live there. Tell him to make his commune elsewhere. Where he's not in danger of his hair falling out, and growing a third eye.

  • @3:40 thats in cod4

  • i would love to go explore that place.

  • @babieejesse me aswell

  • 1:40 look in front there is a man in mirror and not in front of it ghost:)

  • nice spot for paintball

  • @lukazdpro7

    nice juge

  • @xan9559 haha merci :D

  • @lukazdpro7 And radiation poisoning :P

  • lol @ the vodka bottle

  • i actually went to chernobyl. people told me to drink alcohol to keep from getting radiation i still dont know how that helps. while i was there i wasn't allowed to touch anything. THERE ARE SOME BIG ASS FISH THERE AND I SAW A 5 LEGED wolf there. best time of my life.

  • this is so horrible.

  • now the russians will steal the power from this place like in c0d 4

  • i love ghost towns!

  • @yoshibomber i me and my freind wanna go and scavenge what we can there

  • @topzombie3 ikr! ghost towns are prob my fave thing.. even i havent gone to one i just love them

  • wats the name of the song ??

  • this is worse than japan cuz now we have more advanced technology to help those people

also i used to live close to here

  • @maxdude4567 . I live in sweden and the radioactive rain came here also, I was dripping wet of it.

  • @exxalte ouch

  • Dude i totally would love to walk around pripyat like this. Did you guys see that gas mask at 445 and that box of them at 458? Id be like hell yeah gimme some of that! Too bad there probably all radioactive and what not. Isn't that whole city basically affected at least a little bit? And also that was creepy seeing all those pictures of people, and stuff just strewn everywhere. Looks like hell came through!

  • very creepy! I'd love to travel to Prypiat one day. See it for myself. Lets hope Fukushima isn't the same one day.

  • thumbs up if u think this is really fucking kreepy ! (i feel sorry for all those people who died .....)

  • @TheMimo83 It's not even about all those that died, but the generations after that are going to be affected this incredible and horrific event.

  • i now some russian language and on 1:49 it says get the fuck out of chernobyl

  • @otta653 are you kidding us? I translate it and there stays letterly: Open Sunday Monday Hairsalon.

So it means they were also open on the sundays and mondays..

  • @Missusakli wtf ? it says take time to work! ,i have learned a bit russian language @ school,no worries

  • cool, thats the level from call of duty modern warfare, its got the ferris wheel, sweet

  • fallout new chernobyl? I see a new concept coming..

  • i really want to go there are see what it is like

  • Everything falls apart when there is nobody there to maintain them. In a few hundred years there will be nothing left but dust to suggest that there was ever a city there.

  • Life was interrupted in Prypiat on that fateful day, and it will never be continued there again.

  • Oy, Suzy!

  • what amazes me is how they got there they have about five checkpoints you have to get threw before you enter beccause it HIGHLY radioactive

  • omg i watched it when it was exactly 11 55 like at 3:32

  • @SpikeyBoy333 whats wrong with 11.55?

  • @crazyfreakcom when i watched it the time was 11 55 on my watch.. same as on the clock on 3:32 in the movie :P

  • @SpikeyBoy333 hahaha lol then he was recording this when wah 11.55 on your watch ;DD

  • Comment removed

  • @crazyfreakcom say that again :S

  • @SpikeyBoy333 now i was loked on my watch and was 11.55 lol

  • @SpikeyBoy333 thats 12:55

  • @SpikeyBoy333 that is some creepy fucking shit its11:55 for me too...

  • @poorlymadeproduction haha xD

  • @SpikeyBoy333 Its 11:45 right now. Still pretty close lol

  • are you people joking?! it takes MILLIONS OF YEARS for rads to go away!! its gonna bethousands of years before its even habitable!

  • Very moving video of the area surrounding Chernobyl.

  • It looks exactly like COD 4

  • @chriswww cod 4 looks exacly like that.

  • @VictorIndiaDeltaAlfa Clearly when they asploded the reactor they wanted to copy COD 4....

  • @VictorIndiaDeltaAlfa a mission on cod 4 is on that citie dude

  • @GABRIEL10021 yes it is but he wrote it opposite.

  • @chriswww

NO. cod 4 looks exactly like chernobyl

  • @Nik214Ne everybody noes that when they explode reactor they were playing too much cod and that's why it looks like cod

  • I think the issue with ppl living there is > Hiroshima and Nagasaki, burned up the Natural Materials that hold Radiation. And rebuilding was alot easier since everything was just mostly GONE.

It seems Wood and concrete And Iron > all hold Radiation.

Compare Pics of the Bombing vs this Disaster.

I wonder if the Radiation killed off the Rats and bugs?

  • Such a nasty looking place ... o.O

  • the clock at 3:31 is ironic.

  • ever seen enething like it..

  • omg it's cod 4 modern warfare O_O

  • Why is everything smashed up? like glass and furniture? I thought they all just evacuated, there wasnt looting or rioting was there?

  • @dratsab1980 Actually, many years after the incident, this town WAS looted. Whoever was dumb enough to loot it is probably dead now from the RAD, but who cares.

  • @DK99824 thats just tickled me :)

  • @reesessoldier1026, well if your next to the reactor, not for another 100,000 years, or atleast thats when the plant stops giving off radiation i beleive

  • what the music name?

  • @Belgons music is by Glenn Danzig

  • Why arent they wearing a hazmat suit?

  • *sniffs air* ahhh i love the smell of radioactivity in the morning! (btw when does the radiation callm down so i can go?)

  • @reesessoldier1026 They do tours you just can't live there.

  • It's Polish film Opuszczone , is mean lower ...

  • that the same swmming pool in cod 4 mission about chernobyl

  • EXELENTE VIDEO

  • are you daft? stay out of the radioactive area.

  • The music is a bit overdone. A ghost town is a sad thing, not an episode of Scooby Doo.

  • Today is the anniversary:(

  • deve essere stato davvero orribile lasciare tutto...nonostante l'evento tragico, la città mi affascina un sacco per le emozione che trasmette e mi piacerebbe visitarla...

  • imagine something like this happening to your hometown :S

  • ouuu fuck tolete grow in stret

  • when can people go back to live?

  • @Diddds79 They can go back now, radiation levels aren't harmful there any more. Not unless you run up next to the plant :P

  • @Diddds79 never

  • @Diddds79 Uhh... never? The radiation level there is 72 times the radiation level at your house, and it will take forever for the radiation to die down

  • @DK99824 im sorry if my question seemed stupid just wanted to find out some info about it. I cant remeber how i came accross the chernobyl videos maybe the japanese crisis. Thanks for your answer your the 2nd person to tell me now, so lets see if you can answer my 2nd question? tell me, did the water in the swimming pool evaporate in a longer or shorter period of time than usual or did it just evaporate as normal ? smartarse:)

  • @Diddds79 Well, since one effect of Radiation is like massive heat (People can melt from it :S), and the fact that it is used to steam water in power plants, I'd say that the water would evaporate faster. This is not definate, it is just my hypothesis on what would happen.

  • @Diddds79 Or was it drained away after they lost power and maybe the water pipes were shut off? idk :P

  • @Waabbitt that's a good answer you could get into Harvard with an answer like that. another question could be how much does a cow weigh? the perfect answer is milked or unmilked

  • ' S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Fukushima Fallout ' wll be the next STALKER game.

  • Watching this, looking at all the buildings all empty, decayed and overgrown, combined with the music just puts chills in me, the feeling I get is just......

  • God's will !

  • la misma suerte correra fukushima =(

  • Just so fucking sad!!!!!!!

  • i like to do ghost hunting there>>>>>>

  • @WJSED0000 you go to chernobyl, YOU IDIOT, the place is full of radioactive stuff

  • 800 hundred yeears

  • It's a strange feeling that thousends of people have lived in this city and now its a ghosttown

  • thats scary

  • so sad

  • wow its really looking same with the cod4 map

  • @cimeyilli ok im not only one thinking that.

  • @walrusjuggs 70 years i think, they said on discovery.

  • Wow, they even took down the basketballhoops..... this just shows how poor the people in the ukraine are!

  • wouldn't the place still be contaminated? Are you able to walk around there?

  • @GhostOfRockyHorror you can take small tours at your own risks
