xperia ray is camera phone without auto-flash and shutter button, so sad..it suppose have camera shutter button and auto-flash..

it has good design but screen quite small, prefer big screen for better quality..

I say this is only good to a certain extent.

This phone would be a good replacement to take still pictures, but anything with a great amount of motion would blur.

It is a really well featured cameraphone, with exposure control, white balance, focus type etc. Macro especially is very good considering it's a phone. Noise can be an issue and the images lack a little sharpness but they say the best camera is the one you have with you and it's sure is the best I have if I leave my Canon gear at home. Adding camera apps to get effects like Polandroid is a massive feature, too. I'm so pleased I got my Xperia Ray.
