In mid-August the University of East Anglias Climate Research Unit (CRU) disclosed that it had destroyed the raw data for its global surface temperature data set because of an alleged lack of storage space. The CRU data have been the basis for several of the major international studies that claim we face a global warming crisis. CRUs destruction of data, however, severely undercuts the credibility of those studies.
We should be v concerned that this msm has buried this while it as been raging through the internet. BBCanalyst Roger Harrabin plays it down with quotes from his `sources at CRU`. Some analyst! This is the greatest scandal of the century. These emails are proof of criminal activity amongst top scientists who influence world opinion on AWG. .Our friends at the `Climate Rewrite Unit` have shown what a load of woo their models and methods are..Does anyone still think we are living in a democracy?
Unless and until these guys release all their data and code, we will all be justified in suspecting them of trying to cover up deliberate scientific fraud.
It's possible that they're breaking the law already, in their attempts to avoid releasing data requested under FOI.
The University of East Anglia should suspend Professor Jones, pending investigation into possible criminal fraud.
Another fake controversy. All the data still exist. They dumped about 5% of data from stations showing warming trends by urbanization and suchlike.
And all the data (including the "top secret" missing data) is still completely available from all the met services the CRU collected the data from.

I too worked in a gov funded climate office in the early 90s, and they meticulously filed every scrap of data. That data has since been digitized.
Why is their climate data TOP SECRET? Why do you need a Freedom of Information request to get the raw climate data?
Sounds like climate research is now being controlled by Third World dictators?
