It would probably work fine in DK on a mid-gauge. You might like it even better in sport weight on a mid-gauge. You'll have to add stitches, of course, to get enough width.
i like way this blanket is knitted i have a flat beb machine mid-grade if i put out ever other needle and knit it this way would it work usein a dk yarn? please keep up the good work.
