I played this at an anime convention in Holland. Instead of fish we had marbles but it was still very fun to play :P I managed to get 5 marbles into the bowl before the poi broke :P I still want to try it with real fish, more traditional that way...

I worked at a Japanese Festival in a kingyo sukui booth, I got the technique down, so it's easy to me. You just have to take your poi underneath the fish and raise it slowly. :D
