It was in the midst of a very potent and powerful trip, the most powerful one i've ever had, just before it i was listening to Tool which got my adrenaline running thick then i put this in to chill out and my goodness, the visuals i saw were sooo beautiful and exciting at the same time. I was 18 when Shannon died. I've always been into the bands of the 80's, like my favorite Def Leppard n' Poison, Skid Row, etc. But I think when it comes to the 90's, Blind Melon with Shannon's vocals & talent conquers the 90's decade.
It happened the way happened me. But I was 7 then, and discovered them in my teens, when I was about 15. I hear lots of 80's glam and rock, but this stuff is just incredible!
Listening to this over and over and over and over and over.....Blind Melon has a way of making everything in your life seem like it's going to be alright. Even when the content is SOOO dramatic and SOOO scarey to face....with the power of their or any music of your choice...you can do it!

I think there has been a Woodstock craze that hit in 2009 when the 40th anniversary came and the release of the Woodstock movie. With a new spotlight on Woodstock came more Woodstock searches on YouTube, then many found videos from Woodstock 1994, thus they found Blind Melon. From there they found out who was responsible for "No Rain", and etc. That's how I found out about them anyways - totally glad I did.

I was 18 when Shannon died. I've always been into the bands of the 80's, like my favorite Def Leppard n' Poison, Skid Row, etc. But I think when it comes to the 90's, Blind Melon with Shannon's vocals & talent conquers the 90's decade.

It happened the way happened me. But I was 7 then, and discovered them in my teens, when I was about 15. I hear lots of 80's glam and rock, but this stuff is just incredible!

Listening to this over and over and over and over and over.....Blind Melon has a way of making everything in your life seem like it's going to be alright. Even when the content is SOOO dramatic and SOOO scarey to face....with the power of their or any music of your choice...you can do it!

Man it is incredible to hear people saying how they are just discovering them. I love hearing that! He passed when I was in my late teens and there hasn't been much that compares to thier talent level since. Glad to see the younger generations picking up on a great band!!!

I think there has been a Woodstock craze that hit in 2009 when the 40th anniversary came and the release of the Woodstock movie. With a new spotlight on Woodstock came more Woodstock searches on YouTube, then many found videos from Woodstock 1994, thus they found Blind Melon. From there they found out who was responsible for "No Rain", and etc. That's how I found out about them anyways - totally glad I did.

@Trace413 Dude, I am 21. I would've been about 11-15 through BM's peak.. And all I can say is I feel like I missed an opportunity. Shannon's pure energy, the band's overall cohesiveness.. just the entire package... Best band ever. It's unreal how I can listen to all three albums back to back over and over.

sadly i just found out about them yesterday
i wish i wouldve found them earlier
