im from the bay area, i was born and raised in oakland,ca...and im gonna be honest, i use to listen to hyphy back in '06, just for a couple of months, and the songs that came out like "tell me when to go" that got a some recognition was great. but then more and more hyphy artists came out and the lyrics were just garbage, really repetiive and now to me hyphy is dead it's a joke and and its just plain garbage and this hyphy music is just an embrasment.
