Yeah much faster, it takes forever to move with a ripped off turret on halo3 but the ODST is much faster with a turret.

Jason failed to mention the second disc with all the halo 3 multiplayer maps on it which includes 2 new ones too. A bargain if you haven't got the maps for halo 3 already. Maybe bungie should have released two versions one with and one without the bonus disc and half the price or as Jason has pointed out here DLC ODST as they had first intended.

Yea i agree with jason. Its good not amazing. My copy only cost £27 so it was definately worth that price as its got the halo 3 multiplayer disc too which comes with all the DLC.

all the negativaty this game is getting is undeserved its campaign while short is designed to be reviseted more than once the shorter more personal story is fantastic and the firefight mode will eat hours of ur time plus i really think its a testiment to how good the halo 3 competative milti player is that its been released here with all the dlc maps and is still one of the best shooters on live i'm happy they didn't release a new multy player game because it would just fragment the comunity

I disagree with this review, i love halo but this game was a let-down, the campaign is fun but they added some driving/flying levels which were horrible so i ended up being stressed at the finial driving level at the end before i finished because the AI controlled vechcles are terrible, they drive straight ahead get destoryed and all my hard work went to waste, and multiplayer mode is copy and pasted from halo3, all i got from it was 6 maps, its a real shame because it could have been much more

This game was over exaggerated.

"It's the biggest map we've ever done!".....my ballsack, you can get across the entire thing in a mongoose in like 1 minute. Its not like they each little bit of the city is unique! Its one bloody place copied and pasted to make up that tiny city.

I thought there would be side quests and proper free roam in this. Major disappointment. Firefight is good, hard though. Co-op is not great.

I would say that, apart from Halo CE of course, what really made the game amazing was the multiplayer, online or otherwise.Although Halo 2 and 3's storylines are great, dont get me wrong. And how about a machinima making episode of the Gadget Show someday?

you only need the health packs when your stamina gets affected. usually the armor protects enough for you to get away without injury but if you are under heavy fire for a longer period of time then the stamina bar across the top starts to decrease and can only be regenerated by obtaining a health pack

Yes. Halo 2 made them, but that doesn't mean i'm wrong and that Halo 3 didn't have it and Halo 2 and Halo 3's health system was like CoD, not ODST.

I thought Game was great even though it was short. It entertained me enough that I didn't feel cheated out. Firefight mode is worth Price of admission alone. Even when compared to Halo 3 I can't feel really any difference which is great for Halo fans who just want more Halo.

Well, its the least biased review i've seen of ODST... which isn't saying much sadly.

Everyone sees it as the next halo game, instead of a game in itself, people make constant comparisons to halo 3 which makes them miss some of the things which separates ODST from the rest of the series.

however, I have to agree, certain things held ODST back, like the lack of matchmaking in firefight, and the shortness of the campaign (although I wasn't expecting it to be much longer than it was)
