  • Can the monster cable transfer more than 300mbps? Because I would pay more if the monster cable can be up to 500mbps.

  • I'm sure it costs under a $100 dollers

  • @manuel5944 on monsters website it costs 200... O.0

  • May not have made myself clear. The prob isn't a leak in security to the PC/Laptop but a major nuisance factor for other users of the wavelengths where this anti social device is operating..across the AM radio band, into shortwave, then VHF to around 170-200 Mhz. Aircraft comms are at risk.

It's bad news and will be stopped eventually. Don't think that you would like to be regarded as a damned nuisance but I promise you would be.

Best wishes &Bye from Olde Englande

  • Sorry not replied earlier. Been out of town.

Yes.This is a real source of probs to legit users of the VERY wide spectrum it blankets with loud noise.

But have now learned that the offending apparatus are also disturbed by local legal users, transmitting big signals. CB, HAM, Taxi Base, Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Base etc.

Data transfer slows down or even stops when the transmitter is On Air. Even prevents Internet connection altogether. My philosophy? Tough! Good Luck from Olde Englande

  • @capthowdy

Hi....Really glad that you HAVE questioned me.

It's so bad that BBC engineers, Air Traffic Control & others are complaining , not to mention Radio Amateurs who are just wiped out by it. It operates by putting the signal for your p.c into normal radio freqs/wavelengths. Blanks any set nearby. Used to be AM_MW band but crept over entire Short Wave. Now heard as high as The Air Band & DAB.

Running out of characters Will send another with some YouTube addresses to view.

    Regards HM.

  • How would this work in a building with multiple apartments? Would there simply be to many ways for the signals to go?

  • @EclipseEDM That's an interesting question. We haven't tested these in townhomes, apartments, or areas with shared power lines. I'd recommend contacting Monster Cable for information regarding their performance in these types of areas. I would say you may not get the advertised results when running in a shared building, but it may work just as well and sharing net throughout the entire complex. Monster Cable can be reached at 1-877-800-8989

  • @SonicElectronixTV i mean it gets internet from eletricity???? i mean i live in brazil i can use this i want to buy omg.

  • @paulomoura2 What it does is it transfers your internet throughout your entire household. Which means is if you have internet and want to have it in another room as well you can easily use the PowerNet for this use.

  • have you tried it on different circuits

  • Purchasers need to know a lobby is well underway to ban them. You'll lose cash spent when banned.

Also, many household radio devices will work badly if at all.

You can trash ur Tranny Radio.

Worse. YOU don't have one but neighbours DO (300yds away)? OH Dear. You'll get big problems there also. VERY BIG

Ignore the smooth talking "know all." AVOID POWER LINE ADAPTERS like the plague!! Yours or anybody else's!!!

Or you'll regret it big-time. I DID! You have been warned.

    Comms Engineer. G3NBY

  • @g3nby how is it so bad, dont mean to question u on this, but this could be a really useful thing for me an alot of other ppl that have devices through out there homes, i dont use my net for business or for anything personal other than entertainment (gaming, movies, browsing the net) so would it hurt everyone in that sense or just for security of their personal info an business thanx

  • @capthowdy126

Having trouble getting second message to launch.

Just search YouTube for BPL or PLT interference.

    Regards HM

  • @kickersman13 You need to already have the internet. Once installed properly, it is meant to connect each computer in your home to the main router (internet) via the power outlet.

  • O_O Need Me Two Of Those!

  • i heard about this.... i want it and need it

  • cool
