wow this was put up earlier than the announcement that there was another episode almost made. im just realy surprised at how apparently difficult it is to make a almost 30 minute episode. i can understand if getting the voice actors to do it might be dificult but hell some people who put up vids on youtube made REALY well with REALY good animation and it took them only like a few weeks or so.and this talk about funding. how much money do these voice actors want to be paid for just TALKING.

FYI to all those who are waiting to see the episode, it was canceled by ZUN. He said that he wanted Touhou to be known by and remembered through the games and not by an anime. Therefore, it was canceled and this was as far as they apparently got. Sorry for all of you.

@SarkenHS Actually, ZUN wasn't the reason it was shelved. His only problem was that use of famous voice actresses would mislead people into believing it was official. The real reason Maikaze stopped was poor sales of episode 1, thereby not bringing in enough money to make episodes 2 and 3 right away.

That was not the case really, there's lots of false theories about why did it take 2 years to make an episode, but they are all false, the simple reason is that they are an amateur team doing it for fun, 2 years is a reasonable time. It has nothing to do with sales or ZUN
