@mrsafety662 They stopped touring because there was no point anymore, they couldn't even hear themselves play because of all the screaming, they messed up on songs and didin't even give a shit because no one heard them, there were times that Lennon would actually cuss out the audience(especially at the last concert at Candlestick Park) but no one noticed, according to Ringo there were shows that the front were playing a song, Ringo would be playing a different song because they couldn't hear.

I think years to come, Paul's solo work and Wings works will be reevaluated as works of genius. They suffered from 80's stigma,(easy to join the trashing) and people's disappointment of the Beatles breakup. Paul wrote and performed some excellent songs. Any artist knows you have to put a lot of work out there to come up with some gems. He wasn't the political figure John was and people held that against him. He is a hardworking artist and that is admirable too.
