It's getting more noticed that more teens are saying similar things like born too late or my generation's music is crap, so there must be something very wrong...and it is!

Budgie wasn't gloom and doom like Sabbath, but they were def. heavy for their time. Just an all around great rock band that didn't get the recognition they derserved. Speaking of Sabbath contrary to what my older brother (10 years my sr.) thinks, they were not satanic. I'm not gonna push what I listen to on him but he should open his eyes and ears. He grew up listening to a lot of 80's rock bands and didn't get into older heavy stuff like me.
@xbox50000 yes they are .they were touring till dio died cause craig goldy whos there lead guitar was in dio and he was a pawbearer at the funeral and the whole band was there. that was said on the jaxx website a club in springfieald va where they were scheduled to play in may. word is there playing in november. man i hope so .i play em all the time. these new bands can't tie there shoes!!

This guy worked very hard n deserved to be recognized, but he isn't. Then we get people (like Justin Bieber) who never heard of good music, are by no means talented, don't care about the music or the fans (only money) and don't write their own songs. Poor Tony Bourge must be workin some shit job nowadays-it's not fair!
I'm not surprised that many people haven't heard of Budgie. This kind of music mostly existed outside the USA. Conversely, I only ever heard of Rush after I moved to the US.
I work with a couple guys who were 70's music guru's and they never heard of them...now that they have they are pissed that they hadn't before hand....great stuff
Holy crap! I just "discovered" these guys earlier today. Great innovative sound for its time, fueled by garage-esque fury. I'll be sure to try some of the other bands mentioned here. I'm so impressed! <3 Regards to all-
