@Cam4cha It just occurred to me that both my NES and Game Boy are still working but that my Xbox died a long time ago, while the NES (the Game Boy too, of course) was carried around a lot by kids (us) and the Xbox was looked after by a careful adult.

Only our SNES had a problem powering up at one point, but after leaving it alone for six months it miraculously repaired itself and is going strong ever since (some 10 years ago). Is there anything those things can't do? :p

@yotamaster93 that's nothing! when i was a kid a jolly rancher ended up in my gameboy's battery compartment and got left in there for years because i had my gba. then one day when i got it out again, i scraped the melted jolly rancher out, put batteries in, and it STILL works!
