@gbzhemn1 Sweden is 450 000 km2 of which 8,7% is fresh water (lakes). Finland is 338 000 km2 of which 10,2% is fresh water so technically we have more lakes compared to the size. And when looking from satellite images Finland looks more... filled with lakes than Sweden.

But the subject was wich country has the most lakes ("The land of a thousand lakes" refers to the number of lakes, not their size, and numbers was also what i was referring to in my post).
