its ok to have surgery to improve pitching(tommy john surgery), its ok for a trainer to give cortisone shots and pain killers before a game so the player can play, but god fuckin forbid a player wants to help himself heal by taking HGH..this is all political..the medical profession makes no money on HGH..only pain killers..please , I want to hear a player stand up and say, " so what , I did" its my body and I chose to help my body heal after all the abuse this sport has given it"

The law states it's not up to a man to prove his innocence, it's up the accuser to prove guilt. He may very well be lying, but until it's proven without a shadow of a doubt our laws state he should be seen innocent. As I commented below, it may not be the most just or accurate way of determining outcomes, but until it's changed it should be applied.

We're basing our opinion of the greatest pitcher in baseball on the word of a drug dealing, ex-cop, who posed as a Dr., and admitted several times, under oath, to lying to Authorities. What does Clemens have 2 do 2 prove his innoncence? Everyone's made their minds already, and there's nothin Clemens can do to bring light to his innoncence. I hope if any of you are ever alleged to have committed an illegal act you're given the benefit of the doubt as our government states you should receive.

I didn't say baseball history. He is currently the best pitcher still playing. Curt Schilling doesn't have an argument statistically,

Schilling: 216 wins, 3.46 era, 3116 K's, 0 Cy Young Awards.

As far as history, he's not clearly the greatest pitcher of all time, but his name could be mentioned with a valid argument.

I despise the Yankees. I'm an Astros fan, and hated Roger when he left to go back to New York. But it's clearly stated "Innoncent until proven Guilty". There's is no gray area, and unless he can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt he should be seen as innocent. I'll agree it may not be an accurate way of determining things, but it's the law. We can't cherry pick the situations to which we want to administer it.

We are at war, we have people on the streets (that do not choose to be there) etc. It just strikes me as odd.
