@guitarguy1751 Home Depot has them, they just don't call them can lights. Go to Home Depot and ask someone to show you where the clamp lights are. That's what Ryan has; once you see them you'll see why he calls them can lights.

For the clamp lights you have in the Quick Tip: Did you buy regular ones with the plastic sockets and then replaced them with porcelain sockets, did they come with porcelain sockets or are the sockets with them plain plastic and the whole thing is unmodified?

I made a rig very similar to this a while back. Here are some tips -

Match the weight to the weight of your camera! We were using an HD camcorder that probably only weighed a couple of pounds, and we were using a 10 pound weight. Way heavier than it needed to be. These rigs work by using counter balance, so build accordingly.

Also, put some sort of grips on the bars, or wear gloves. Galvanized pipes will get your hands all sorts of funky dirty, and even blistered. Be careful.
