i was looking on amazon for extreme cd singles and to my surprise there are several unreleased songs on various cd singles and the best part is people have them posted here so i dont have to pay a fortune to buy them. thanks for posting this
Touch You was the original but somehow they changed it completley apart from some of the lyrics. Once again one of Extremes mysteries, check it out its still a good song!
I remember when I saw them live in Glasgow, (Scotland) for the 2nd time on the "Punchline" tour, and they actually opened the show with this one(!) The crowd at that show was NUTS. People were actually crowd-surfing all over the place! I also remember everyone singing "Love of My Life" on the way out down the stairs.
Yep, that's right... First crowd-surfing, then "Love of My Life"(!)
Everytime I hear Nuno it just brings a smile to my face. His tone, style and creative approach to playing guitar is something else. He's out there on his own. I think that he truly is the Hendrix of our time in that his playing comes from somewhere else.
i definitely noticed the SEAL part. I have this on a cd single of There Is No God (edit version), bought as import in US (Made In Germany) - - -actually the beginning of the guitar solo (low note jam) is based on something well known as well, can't think of it...
I wonder why @ 2:37 they have added a bit of the song 'Wild' by Seal... The 'na na na na' part... And almost seems like Nuno's smiling while singing that part... :)
Maybe Wild is connected to one of the boys' sexual encounters/experiences considering the song talks about 'Never been fu(n)ked like this before' ....
It came on a CD booklet that fit 2 CDs, but the 2nd CD was a dummy cardboard. YOu had to buy the single for No Respect (I think) to have the "2nd disc" and then put it in the same case.
Weird.
Yet as weird as it is, I am furious for not buying that 2nd disc.
I bought the single when it came out. Two cd's came out and you put one in the 'digipack'. It's a really unusual song, very un-extreme. He's an awesome guitarist, it's a pity they just went out of fashion.
Touch You is not "the original" of any song other than "Touch You". They have completely different riffs, rhythms, melodies, etc. Sorry.

The low note jam part thing is quoting "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg douchteeth :)
It's great hen he quotes classical pieces as he really makes them groove!
