Narcissistic people unfortunately don't allow the rest of their family existence because it interferes with their unhappiness for destroying their own existence .. he thought killing his wife would make him feel better. and found out that it didn't so it was time to end his life and take the kids with him.. some do it the opposite way .. so the wife lives and the kids are dead... so she can suffer because he can't face the music of his own damaged personality .. my guess is that he was s- abused

... by his father ... was perhaps either abusing the boys or was getting ready to,needed the wife out of the way and fought his own conscience and decided to end it, his father in jail for this is a good indication he was a victim of his abuse .. maybe the wife decided it was time to make it transparent .. leave and keep the children away from him... he killed Susaan r and then did the rest of them in when dad headed off to prison for his hobbies .every part of this was going to be exposed..

Car alarm, mine goes off sometimes, I forget to disarm it. It means nothing. It's a case of wife goes missing, they want to blame husband, they have zip for evidence, husband moves to another state, wifes parents want kids, gets corrupt system, whose already convinced he's guilty, to "judicially kidnap" his kids.He tries to get kids back, system does not give kids back, dad flips out and tragedy occurs. Remove any one point of this saga and tragedy could have been prevented.

oh well Josh powell is dead now. and so is his Boys!. Because his Boys knew too much and they started talking more. and No one believed there stories.And now Josh killed them and him self. i wonder if josh poisned susan. then he put her in the trunk of the car, then she woke up and banging in the trunk and thats when the alaram went off. and josh freeked out and went out there and killed her while she was in the trunk. so sad the boys saw and heard every thing and they wasnt old enough too help. But neihbers dont step in too peoples business any more.

@xxbrokensinxxify I don't know, I somehow think that what he did to the boys could be how he murdered his wife. He probably hacked her to death, shoved her body into the trunk of his car, took the kids and told them they were going camping. And when he pulled her body out of the car he most likely vaporized it to the point where her bones are most likely dust and just buried her in some bush or something.

is currently in jail for kiddy porn and for videotaping young

women and girls w/o their knowledge. He also claims he

was having an affair with Susan, thus giving his son a

motive, even though his assertions are absurd The

estranged daughter is the only one in that Powell family

who seems normal.

Hope that when police searched the cars they also searched clothes& shoes that Josh was wearing when he got out of those vehicles.Josh's website tries to convey what a great Nvolved father he is,when in fact, a good father would be a good role model &help the police with finding his boys missing mother. He would be frantic or distraught to help in any way he could.Not so with Josh. He has set up a website to talkbout his hobbies and brag that he has exclusive photos of Susan that R copyrighted.

Josh made a pancake w/ cream cheese lunch for Susan and her church friend on Sunday. Herfriend reported that it took Josh about 3- 4 hours to prepare the meal.Very soon after the meal,Susan became suddenly very tired andhad to go lie down.Josh toldSusan's friend not returnlater that evening with some untangled yarn.Josh tells his sons that Mommy is lost, yet is doing nothing to help them get their mommy unlost.He useshis sons as excuse not to talk to reporters. @cincinnatikate According 2 Susan's friend who ate lunch that afternoon with Susan's family after church,took Josh ~ 4 hours to make a pancake and egg dinner served w/ cream cheese. Susan was fine until right after she ate & then became so tired she had 2 lie down. Josh served each person's plate himself. Jovonna called later to ask if she could return some yarn to Su, butJosh answered and said Susan' wouldn't need it soon as she had 2 work next day, but later, tells us he forgot it was Sunday

It could also be that she turned the alarm on to get the attention of the neighbors, while Josh might have tried to hurt or kill her, and she was fighting for her life, that's why it took so long for the alarm to be turned of. I guess we will never know.
