It's amazing it took 9/11 for people to understand what firemen go through. Like the stories Tommy was talkng about. All the horrible shit they have seen and done.
Probably one of the best TV shows to ever go on TV. It was surreal to see how well the directors and producers, and actors of this show portrayed the firefighters lives, how the dealt with 9/11, the humor, and sometimes the turmoil that went on inside the fire house. GREAT SHOW. My favorite show and now.... it's gone. Sadly.
@wiiplaya25 I think he was sober up until he opened up to her, and therefore started drinking. The coin he threw at the end was probably something similar to the one year sober coin he'd gotten in season five. That's my theory.
