You should practice the splits atleast six times a day or more to build up the strength keep trying always warm up and stretch first don't go straight into the them trust me lol x ;) -3 :/
doing the splits takes a lot of practice and stretching over time before you can successfully accomplish it correctly. It is painful at first but worth it in the end
i can do right leg splits and left leg splits, hold right leg mounts and left leg mounts, almost perfect right leg grande jetes and left leg grande jetes, and perfect split jumps... but im nowhere near middle splits... :(

@Bambiandsugerkitt3 well (haha) i layed on the ground and put up my legs,then i put them apart,then my friend grabbed one leg and pushed it down while i pushed my other leg down then i tried doing the spilts and i waz 1 inch of the groud! @selenarulez123 Well first of all sit in open seconds .Then I put my left hand behind me (for left splits) and my right hand in front of me. i then pushed myself up with my hands still in front of me and behind me and still on the ground. i slowly started to turn my body to the side so my left leg was in front.(im still pushed up off of the ground) i have to now push my right leg so its in place ......Just try to get lower and lower and get to the ground .....
This is the stretch that gets you closer to the splits. You have to stretch every day to maintain your flexibility, and as time goes on you'll eventually be able to perform a full split.

I am in taekwondo, and it takes years to get as flexible as her. you all have to remember, that this stretch doesn't work all muscles. You have to stretch your knees first. It takes a few stretches to be able to do the splits.
Warning:an adviece ,Females can do this 2x easier then males,cause at the males the part at the neck is more stronger then at the females,and at the females the part of the ass-sorry if this is offensive is much stronger then males ,an example males can do push-ups easier,females can do splits easier ,females can take a thing from ground easier,males can catch somthing on air easier!
No this isn't just for girls. It's good for guys who are goaltenders and need this and want to be able to do this as you can cover the lower net from have a leg to post to post.

@LucieHolly95 make sure your only stretching every second day if you don't give you body the time to heal you wont improve your flexibility and you increase the risk of injury
Everyone is different. It could take 1 month or 6 months. It all depends on how flexible you are when you start. When I started martial arts I was about as flexible as a piece of concrete lol. So, it took me 6 months to get my full splits. Everyone is different.
@pandahluver the time it will take is up to your body to tell the truth and how much effort you put in it for practice, all i can say is if you are a girl, you will learn faster than guys since girls have natural flex...
@pandahluver As much as needed, if you feel like stretching for an hour, then an hour. It took me about 7-10 months to get my splits down all the way. Over time you'll b able to go all the way down.
I was already pretty flexible before i started trying to do the splits.I tried this vids streches and then i tried some other stretches and i was able to do middle splits.I can now do left side splits aswell.Everyone just a tip: STRECH!!!!!!!

@Dancediva4eva be careful how you turn it out, you twist ligaments in your knees get the wrong angle and oneday itll blow out on you.

When i was really little i used to run around doing the splits all the time!
But now i'm older,it's harder!
I managed to do all 3 of the splits(Right side,left side and middle)thanks to this video and a few others :)

Everyone is different. It could take 1 month or 6 months. It all depends on how flexible you are when you start. When I started martial arts I was about as flexible as a piece of concrete lol. So, it took me 6 months to get my full splits. Everyone is different.

@pandahluver the time it will take is up to your body to tell the truth and how much effort you put in it for practice, all i can say is if you are a girl, you will learn faster than guys since girls have natural flex...

@pandahluver As much as needed, if you feel like stretching for an hour, then an hour. It took me about 7-10 months to get my splits down all the way. Over time you'll b able to go all the way down.

Im very unflexible and have been tryn to do the spilts, how much time would it take if you did this like 3 times a day everyday?

I was already pretty flexible before i started trying to do the splits.I tried this vids streches and then i tried some other stretches and i was able to do middle splits.I can now do left side splits aswell.Everyone just a tip: STRECH!!!!!!!
