Let us assume that the farmers are now in a position either via agreement or otherwise, meat would simply be to expensive, free range shit is expensive, especially if the supply plumetted and the price would raise even more.

The Statistics I found for the UK and US are roughly proportionately the same, at around there being 6 times the amount of non-organic cattlefarms compared to organic farming. If they all turned organic, we'd not have enough beef.

I'm sure I speak for a lot of farmers when i say PETA takes things way too far. I mean don't they realize that if cows were turned loose they would all die within a short period of time? Lack of fat and protein in the diet can lead to depression and anger. Vegan diets are just not natural for humans.. which are omnivores BTW. The Human body is built on cholesterol from our own production, and from animal products (makes up the majority of our brain matter, nerve endings, cell walls, ect) Contrary to what people might tell you, animal fat is very good for you. Not to mention the protein.

I don't believe all people have the capacity to be vegan (I know a lot who tried to be and had to ditch it), but the thing is we need to minimize and eat the minimum amount of animal produce required instead of gorging, the fact that we need animal protein is a sad/horrible thing.

Keep reading that same book, same chapter, same writer, where God gives instructions for carryiing out the death penalty on humans! Its not the farmers and cattlers faults, its the big companies that force them to put animals in such bad conditions.
Some of those companies literally threaten these people by saying they'll lose their job, home, ect. if they don't agree to the contract.

You gotta consider efficientcy and yield. Free range farms take up a shit load of space and output maybe 10% of what regular cattlefarms do.
The Statistics I found for the UK and US are roughly proportionately the same, at around there being 6 times the amount of non-organic cattlefarms compared to organic farming. If they all turned organic, we'd not have enough beef.

Lack of fat and protein in the diet can lead to depression and anger. Vegan diets are just not natural for humans.. which are omnivores BTW. The Human body is built on cholesterol from our own production, and from animal products (makes up the majority of our brain matter, nerve endings, cell walls, ect) Contrary to what people might tell you, animal fat is very good for you. Not to mention the protein.

I don't believe all people have the capacity to be vegan (I know a lot who tried to be and had to ditch it), but the thing is we need to minimize and eat the minimum amount of animal produce required instead of gorging, the fact that we need animal protein is a sad/horrible thing.

@BCPinkWabbit By the way, if your gonna qoute the bible make sure you actually read it. i dont believe any of it, but I read it for studying purposes and i found alot of death and destruction within it (not a bad thing, makes it pretty awesome) but the "Thou shalt not kill" part is directed toward humans. It is clearly in the book. you should read it.

first of all, kudos on the song. Dayan Lyons = thumbs up from me. Now...No one who knows me could even try to doubt the fact I am 100% animal activist. I spend every moment I can spare in the fight for fair treatment of our animals. I will never stand to see an animal be abused EVER. vegetarians consider us meat eaters killers but have u noticed that in order to create the vegetarian lifestyle u need massive amount of empty farmlands for crop and vege growth and to create these fertile lands you have to wipe out entire ecosystems of animals, birds and insects and if ur lifestyle is urban and ur nt living in a forest u r also again living in places that were once home to milllions of animals tat r now dead, which makes u vege-evangelists killers like us and hypocrites!!

When you die of heart disease, diabetes complications of whatever disease from eating meat incorporates in your body. Eating meat, is eating dead animals, it's eating death. Face it man, even God likes the smell of freshly seared meat.
Also, heart disease isn't caused by mean consumption alone. It is caused by the high levels of fat in most American meat products. Eating lean meat has been shown to, at best, have no effect on heart disease.

"Thou shat not kill" in the Bible is a clear reference to the murder of humans. Keep reading that same book, same chapter, same writer, where God gives instructions for carryiing out the death penalty on humans! I love how people pick that one verse without reading the entire chapter. "Thoud shalt not commit murder" applies only to people, not animals. The bible also gives clear instructions on what animals to kill and eat. Please don't quote the Bible unlesss you know it!
