@GimmeKitty you can't make udon with soba noodles, since soba noodles are made from buckwheat .. It would taste really odd...

This is actually about the same time I stood there and shot some shots for the Better Place video. To bad we didn't bump in to one an other. I really love Arashiyama, it's one of the better parts of Kyoto, I believe I could grow old there. Maybe live up in that old passed away actors house next to the bamboo grove. Nice video Kev, now I really miss Arashiyama!

lol no Kevin. I was only there for a short stay. I stayed in the Tokyo area and ate a bunch of different food. I'm just sayin I really miss eating real good authentic Japanese food. It's very hard to find Japanese restaurants run by Japanese people in the states.

I once went to a Japanese culture festival in Canada and they served Udon. Oishikatta! :) I would love to try another flavor of Udon... that one you have there looks pretty good!
