The screws holding my fan in place will not budge at all. It's like they've been welded, but I guess this problem is unique to my computer because you don't seem to have any problem removing them. The screws are nearly stripped now and I'm starting to think I'm out of options. Nice videos though.
You can notice a huge improvement through the years how apple laptops are buit.
I can remember those TiBooks, I had to open one of these machines and ended up in a mess with wires. i was lucky to reassemble it quite nicely so that it runs again.
And now, all of the components are seperated, the LB, the Drive, the harddisk, cool!
I accidentally pulled the little outlet that the fan-plug goes into :( How much effort/cost would that take to fix?!

@daddycez - You'll likely need a replacement board. Depending on how it ripped off, component level repair may be possible but it's unlikely.
