@scottieman2 HAHA,i left that comment about a year ago and i finally get a reply from someone thinking the same thing. and after he came back twice why didnt they just play it safe and close down camp crystal lake? i think they did that in a later movie but only after like 4 more bloody massacres
@ghostwhiskey LOL Then there weren't be a ton of sequels. lol. I mean, I love these movies for what they are, but at the same time, they know people get killed if they just go play hide and seek in there. They should have just quarantine the whole place.
@scottieman2 i guess thats why we get stuff like jason goes to hell and jason x. they have to take it somewhere and really they could just make movies with jason killing one person after another in different ways with no plot and people will watch it. thats pretty much what they already are anyway. with the remake i wish they wouldve done what rob zombie did with halloween and really explore the psychology of jason when telling his backstory. that to me is the most interesting aspect.
If he remained submerged in the water all that time after his death (like in the dream/reality(?) finale of part one. You would think that his tolerence of water would be quite strong and not actually a source of weakness for him (as it is in Freddy Vs Jason).
How did he manage to survive the drowning and what was he doing in the meantime to get his skin so badly deformed? How did he get to be so strong? Why did he never let his Mum know that he was still alive (before she got killed)?!!
He never actually really drowned, he was just never found. He was born with the head deformities and the skin must be just from being beat up all the time. He got his superhuman strength in part 6 when he became undead. and the last question i have no clue LOL
So he sneaked out of the water when no one was looking and decided it would be preferable to live as a hermit (and presumably excercising) in the woods instead of just going home with his Mom? It just doesnt make any sense! Lol.
An axe to the head doesn't kill him, but a machete does. Must be some magical machete.

ok, he survived the drowning, and saw his mom get killed. he swore revenge, and through movie magic, he was resuerected in 12 sequels.
