@crucialroots yeah, in the beginning he runs through all the options, if u have a wah or echo in your inserts then it will come up. you can automate every setting within an insert.
when the hell are the clowns at apple gonna have the automation settings that EVERY OTHER DAW HAS? you know the ones where don't have write it out manually with everything looking sloppy
Nice! ... You didnt mumble, did not eat, no gum, did not drink, did not fell asleep d u u .. ... ring talking while sitting veeery laid back. - Perfect speed! YES. We all got that great play/pause Button. ;) Everything was said and shown that was necessary at this point. Dude?! You rock. :) That was a good tutorial and not just a waste of my time because some "pro" was bored. ... Thnx! :)
I got a question on the automationprocedure: when i want logic to show up the trackautomation, wasn't there a possibility to choose between two modi? 1: showing up automation for all tracks. 2: showing up automation for only one track.
I was rather certain about it but in the manual i can't find any hint on the topic anymore.
@solanx if you enable 'auto track zoom' (the shortcut is 'ctrl Z', it can also be enabled in the 'view' menu at the top of the arrange window) and then press 'A' only the automation lane for the selected track will be displayed.

hey you are so informative with this logic you should be a trainer for apple..anyways how can i add effects to part of a vocal...like if i have a track with vocals and i want to add effects to the end of the vocal....thx
I love the tutorials. They are really helpful. I have one problem though. When I tried your steps using Pan automation, it didn't work for me. Maybe a step got lost while you were making the correction. Could you please repost.
Mr Mig...This automation vid was could. Using the master track to do full fades at song end. WHY was I doing it on individual tracks! DUHHHH! Thanks for sharing your talent!
Cool, I'm a new Logic 8 user (grad of LE7 Express). If u happen to use external MIDI devices (still), can u do a tute on that? (I dont want to let my rack go yet! LOL). Also, a tute on Ultrabeat would be cool. Thanks!
Cool...basic thing is to see how easy it is to use Logic 8 with ext. MIDI devices, especially since now there is no *environment* (at least how it was with previous versions of Logic). Looking forward to it...thanks again
Thanks once again Mr Mig!! I really like your way of explaining. Somewhere else you asked for ideas for other tutorials. Maybe it's too complicated, but a tutorial how to sample the way Daft Punk does, would be great!
that was great! Thanks so much

Does anyone know how to copy automation patterns and repeat them, so you don't have to go through the whole track doing it manually?
MrAudioEmu 1 year ago
@MrAudioEmu copy and paste the midi region u automated, a pop up will ask u if u want to copy the automation as well "yes".

Hey Mr Mig, firstly your videos are great, I'm very thankful that you and some other dudes make the time to do this in the first place.
One question, where did you get all the audio from in this track? loops? live recording? where?
cheers
