I just don't think these are practical for anything. Home defense? You better hit your target or your neighbor may wind up dead. Hunting? 30 rd mag for deer hunting? I don't get it.
Man I just ordered a WASR 10 and I am SO nervous. I hope I get a good one. Is it true Century Arms has been doing a better job with Quality Assurance with these rifles? I hope they are! I'm taking a huge gamble. What do you think?
Mine docent have any mag wobble, front site is dead on, with the g2 trigger. Only thing it didn't have was the slanted muzzle break and the buttstock cleaning kit and cleaning rod under the barrel. Bought the cleaning kit like 8 bucks on eBay n like $13 for the rod on amazon. And refinished the wood. And not a single problem with anything beautiful gun. Well next to my AR

@Cjohnsonmyer014 Well I think that proof speaks better than words,today is 11/12/10 four days after this comment and my first time taking my wasr 10/63 shooting after doing the tactical upgrades,I will be uploading the videos with the groups I got at the range,20 shot group within 3 inches at 75 yards,show me proof of a arsenal ak that can do that,and maybe there's one out there, but not bad for a shit wasr 10 ak like you are calling it, keep reading.............
Arsenal what you call "AK's" - same WASR10 rifles, they CANT have legal Romanian AK47 due to 922R.
And they build them like shits - specially for CA where single stack ammo clip was introduced.
There was dozens of reports on problems with feed ramp, bolt carrier binding etc - just do youtube search on "Arsenal SLR-106CR Jamming or Arsenal problems"
Buying US build AK's is lottery - never know what you end up getting.

mine doesnt have any of those problem,the only problem i have is with the pin at the top of the sight tower, the steel cylinder that the pin screws into is not centered so my pin is slightly to the right.sucks the only correct way to fix it is with a $15 tool.
My WASR-10 luckily has zero mag wobble and no canted sights luckily. Shoots pretty good too. I'm not sure if a little bit mag wobble affects function or not, you can use a polymer magazine and there won't be any mag wobble with that. I like my SAR-1 better then my WASR-10, much better wood and a little bit nicer metal finish.
@esh325 Good for you on your ak, the mag wobble should not affect the funtion,i wil be ordering the tapco mags and also making my ak a tactical one stay tune for the transfomation videos,thanks for watching.
@MrSurplusnut I was looking at my WASR-10 today, and I noticed that Century arms did the same exact thing you did to prevent mag wobble. They welded the pieces of steel on each side of the mag well.

@esh325 Well,I do like the original look that the wood funiture gives all AK'S specially when is nice original or refinished, but lately I've been whanting a black rifle and i've seen some nice black tactical AK's at the range tha I go that will whip the crap out of any AR and will even group better out to 100 yards, I'm talking about a stock AR in 223,heck I group better then the AR guy with my sniper yugo,but anyway I will be putting the wood funiture away, and installing some nice -continue--
@esh325 I'M going to install the UTG quad rail hand guard with the rubber rail covers,I all ready have the ATI strikeforce pistol grip,soon I will be getting in the mail the tapco mag, the AK 74 style break and the UTG quik detachable scope mount all I need after that will be the tapco collapsible buttstock and other minor accesories, stay tune for the transformation video were I will also be reviewing all the things I will be putting on for those that want to turn theirs tactical.

JB weld cures any mag wobble. Worked great on mine. Just add it where the dimple on the reciever should be!

now a canted sight isn't always a huge deal, shoot my m44's sight is bent to the right a little, and is a tack driver
