  • LOL, listen to that stupid animal control bitch..... Animals survive on instincts..... LOL! Un like humans, and all other animals? Oh they came down for water? Then why worry they only want WATER as do all living creatures. The next one I like is "they typically don't bother people but if you startle them...... LOL Hey Cunt, typically if you startle anything it will become "reactive". Now if Mr Dip Dap had minded his own business that snake would have never bothered him.

  • im against this but she didnt have a choice, because the snake is so dangerous the company insurance didnt allow them to handle the snakes so they had to kill them on the spot or once they got back to the shelter, they changed that though, now they can relocate them.

  • Why did the dumb ass lady kill the snake, How stuped, we just catch and release the snakes we find. See my new video

  • i though animal control knows best, apparently not.

  • chinese chink, it didnt deserve to die...your ignorant

  • I'd just killed it, never would've called anyone...LOL

  • puta pero q idiotas!!!!!!!

  • it didn't deserve to die.

  • i hate u its arattle snake u wana know why its in ur yard because u r invading there territory u retards

  • i f@cking hate animal control people, they never know shit. if u ever catch one again , put it in a old burlap type bag or old pillow case and put it in a breatheable box with shredded up newspaper and mail it my way, il pay for shipping and extra dough for thesnake and your troubles .

im dead serious, how often do u encounter one of these beautiful guys

  • If it's the animal control agency's policy to kill all rattlesnakes, there isn't much the officer can do but follow that policy. The animal control department I'm with would capture and relocate the rattlesnake a short distance away, hopefully away from any homes, something I've done myself many times, using the snake tongs or snake hook, not the catch pole as seen in this video.

  • Perfectly stupid!

Kill everything...people are such pussies..what she is saying is basically full of shit!

  • x80568056 and you are first on the list. Some people are just brainless imbeciles if they watch one a while some animal channel instead stupid NASCAR's or so maybe this thinks not happened anymore.

  • You're really not too bright are you? I didn't mispell anything. If you were to run a spell check on that it would not come up as a misspelling.

  • Your retort is weak, and your spelling is that of a 4 year old "looser".

  • I don't know, why don't you ask you mother. She tells me mine is venomous. Do you stick your dick in a lot of guys asses?

  • Poison is ingested, venom is injected. Asshole.

  • Homeowner wasn't given a choice. Snakes are attracted by rodents. A neighbors left food for critters by her back patio. They had more rattlesnake than anyone BY FAR! I was deathly afraid of snakes before AZ, but sightings on trails + two at home got me used to them. Didn't think it was possible. People would say they saw a rattler, and we would say, "Wow, you were lucky!." See "Rattlesnake Rescue". Dark cause we were videocam newbies - got it that day. From: LDinAZ, now LDinSTL as of July.

  • If you want to get technical the proper term is venomous. But continuing on topic. Considering the reproductive rates of native snakes and taking into account the reproductive rates of rodents. You need all the snakes you can get. Because each calander year a single snake will only eat about 10 rodents. Most mice produce that many babies every month.

  • yea..that would do a lot of good..then you get an influx of rodents and insects...smart thinking there

  • Thank goodness I don't live in that area of the country! Rattlesnakes in my front yard??? OMG!

  • what state do you live in? Because you quite possibly could be living among them and not even know it

  • I hope they both are bitten in the future.

  • hoo? hooz both?

  • Yes, you definately do not have to kill them. There is absolutely no reason to. BUt its perfectly legal to hunt them, as many people find rattlesnake meat very delicious. But I own 3 pet rattlesnkaes on top of doing relocations. SO I'm not abotu to kill one to eat or jsut because.

  • killing of rattlesnakes is most certainly NOT legal in all parts of the USA. It depends on local wildlife laws and/or what species of rattlesnakes.

A fiew years back a photographer got slapped with a 6000$ fine because he got bitten by a timber rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus)The judge was in the oppionion that he disturbed the snake.

  • timbers are the only protected species and thats only in north carolina that I know of. If you go into a wildlife preserve or national park, state park, etc. then of course its not legal, but that goes without saying. But as a whole it is perfectly legal.

  • There are several organizations that catch and release rattlesnakes and don't kill it. Such as my own. email me if anyone has any questions or would like me to give a number you can call for catch/release SCORRE05@hotmail.com. that animal control officer doesn't know the first thing about rattlesnakes. And its not hard to relocate a rattlesnake..all you need is a snake hook and a box..and its done..you never have to touch it. Misplaced fear and ignorance is why people kill rattlesnakes

  • They aren't that scary.

  • this is in California?? Who's the brainless animal control officer that killed this snake? What's with the lame excuse that she can't take it out into the wild to release it?? Let's go to her house and kill her dog.. How would she feel about that?

  • yea, i thought it was a lame excuse too. i dont kno too much about snakes but a while ago ( i think i hav the video on here) we had a garden snake or something. it was the harmless kind. we called animal control and it had already been an hour and all of my neighbors were comin home from work. and one of them took the snake and put him in a bin.

  • he had a large wound though. and released him out in the hills and then the animal control finally arrived and they old us to get him bak becuz his wound is gonna get infected so he wouldnt hav a chance. luckily he was in the same spot and she took him in her truck and drove off. anyways, if u can watch the video. peace.

  • that's so sad. it is really easy to relocate a snake if you know how.

  • Did you listen to the video?

The officer said that: 1) It's dangerous to the officers to handle the snake

    2) The snake can come back and if it does and bites someone, it opens the dept to liability.

  • Yes I listened to it. the officer is mis-informed. it is also illegal to kill rattlers in Cali.

  • Ah, I didn't know that.

  • it is not illegal to kill rattlesnakes in california. for most snakes you need a sport fishing license to capture snakes and such, btu you don't need anything for rattlesnakes. And the bag limit is 2 per person of each species.

  • hmmm... I may be misinformed too... thanks for telling me. but I know you don't have to kill them. I'm glad to hear about your organization.

  • neil89, what state do live in by any chance?

  • California, why?
